The best Twitter app
Thank you devs!
The Best, and ONLY, Way Twitter Made Sense
My experience using Mastodon thus far has been splendid, albeit sparse on content since not a ton of folks are there yet. Hopefully with time, we’ll have a great community there.
RIP Tweetbot. I’ll gladly fork over money for Ivory the first opportunity I get. Best of luck.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.
Truly one of the all time greats of iPhone apps.
You will be missed. Godspeed.
Tweetbot makes Twitter better
The best twitter app. Soon to be releasing the best Mastodon App.
I’m already using the TestFlight for Ivory and it’s already my favorite Mastodon client. Missing a couple of features but I know you’ll get to them soon.
Thanks for all your hard work.
RIP
At least I thought. Since Twitter cut access to third party apps, I haven’t returned. Twitter’s official app and functionality are atrocious, and seem designed specifically to make the experience of accessing the community worse. I know I cut my self among those who have left Twitter, though not for any philosophical reason. Simply put, without the filter of Tweetbot, it is just a bad product.
Seeing that, Tapbots is developing an app for Mastodon has finally convinced me to create an account there, and I eagerly await it’s release.
Thanks for many great years
Mastodon is a much nicer platform - best of luck with the upcoming Ivory release. I’ve been using the beta for quite some time and it’s really excellent.
Thanks for all the years of support and being the best Twitter experience out there. (Twitter has ads? Who knew? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
A landmark app
Thank you for a decade of excellent user experience. I can’t wait to pay you again for Ivory.
Tweetbot was why I used Twitter
Elon nuked it without warning
Thank You, Tapbots!
Thanks for being amazing, Tapbots!
Save yourself from the main app
It’s still not perfect due to API limitations but it’s way better than seeing those stupid view count numbers cluttering your feed.
We can only hope twitter doesn’t kill API access out of jealousy.
If you’re going to charge a subscription, you better update the app more often
But, I’m kinda starting to think the developers are asleep at the wheel. I watch a regular rollout of new twitter and iOS features, and expect to see them roll out to this app a couple weeks (a month?) later. But nothing. It’s been 7 months since an update and things haven’t changed at all. Even the updates we did get 7 months ago are hidden in such obscure places as to be almost impossible to find. There was nothing tweaked for iOS 16. I hope the reason we are waiting so long for new features is because you have a big update coming next week. In the meantime, I think it’s finally time to start trying some different twitter apps.
