Great twilio app
Been using this for years and seems to be the best one out for being able to use your mobile as a dialer with twilio. There Customer service is great as well. Had an issue with a recent update so reached out and they found and fixed the issue within a few days. Can’t fault them. Super app.

Keeps logging out. Major headache to keep logging in.

The app is not saving info you have to re enter your info every time you use really getting frustrating

App won’t save your Twilio settings! Enter your settings. Save your settings. Make your call. Open app the next day and your settings are gone! Not worth the time!

Very confusing. Paying for 2 calls
This app is quite confusing when you first configure it. I had assumed that it would act like a normal phone app and make the call directly from that app. No! What it does is to call your cell phone and then once you answer, it places a call to your desired number.
What this does is to charge your Twilio account for 2 calls: 1 up your cell phone and another to the other party. That’s silly!
I found another app, TwilPhone that directly dials from the app and allows you to set the caller ID. Much more straightforward and half the cost for the app (and call charges).

Loses Settings Frequently
After you get everything all set up, on your mobile device, which means copying and pasting several numbers, you’ll find that after just a few weeks all of your settings are gone.
I’ve resorted to putting all of my information needed for setup inside an easily-available email and re-populating the app when I need to use it. I have found that while this application is unique, it is not useful for regular use.

Works but, can’t handle numbers with extensions
It works but I can’t dial any number behind an extension. For dialling normal number the app does what it advertises: you get a call from your Twilio phone number and it merges the two calls.

Absolutely over the moon with this app! It works really well and thanks to TwiDial’s tech support, they very quickly resolved an issue I had getting this working which was down to some information I’d entered incorrectly... would highly recommend!

This app does exactly what it says. The first time I used it I got the same error the other reviewer did, it said ‘call completed’ but that’s it. I’ve tried it several times since a then and it’s worked fine.

Then you enter a number to call and it calls both that number and your mobile number. Both you and the person you are calling get an inbound call at the same time from your Twilio number. It took me a few minutes to wrap my head around what was happening but it works great.
If the dev made a messaging client so I could text with my Twilio number I’d gladly pay another $10

Great App. New update doesn’t work as well. If you can fix it, the screen looks stretched on iPhone 6s Plus.

I experience an odd bug every now and again, but this app works great overall.
If you could integrate CallKit, I will recommend this app to all my business clients! That would be such a killer feature.

Not working
Asked me to select an outgoing number but there are no numbers in the list

Hi mike - I think you need to go to settings and verify your Twilio credentials by clicking the test Twilio and then refetch the verified caller Id values.
Works great
What else can I say? Entering your account sid is annoying and your api key but that’s not this apps fault. Once configured it works great.

Thanks for the feedback - yes it’s annoying but this app is a dialed for Twilio and there are not really any better ways to accomplish it I don’t think.
Great App - Previous Reviews are Silly
First off, Twilio isn’t exactly a service designed with novice users in mind. You need to be tech savvy to set it up properly.
That being said, I’ve used this app on a couple of different Twilio accounts and it works flawlessly.
I’d love to see support for SMS messaging in the future which would be incredibly useful.

Love your transparency - you are right this app nor Twilio is designed for mass market - it’s a bit nerdy but when you grasp what it does it’s powerful. On the sms I don’t think we will be doing that primarily because the infrastructure to handle inbound messaging is an operating expense we don’t want - it’s much more complex that outbound dialing. So I appreciate your request but we will probably leave that to another passionate Twilio doer.

No option to update, but I'm sure I'll have to buy a new $800+ Apple phone to keep up with the software that leaves old functioning software behind. What a great money making scheme Apple. Well played, but hate to say that will backfire hard.
