Waste of money
It doesn’t work! Freezes on letters and won’t let you complete the whole letter
Not free
Its not free, it’s subscription based
No cursive letter formation
Great idea but cursive writing only shown in Spanish!
Not worth a subscription
The app only displays patterns and does not show handwriting, as it only features icons on the screen. Because the handwriting is not visible, kids cannot see their mistakes; the icons simply disappear, prompting them to retry. Children can become stuck on a particular letter and have to click a tiny button to move on to the next step. I paid for a subscription without signing up for the app, and overall, it feels very disorganized.

Not cursive lettering. Avoid if in the UK
The fonts to practice with are not cursive.
Needs to include continuous cursive option
Increasingly, pupils learning their first letters are being taught to use entry and exit flicks from the beginning of learning handwriting. This is a highly efficient method of teaching writing and supports the teaching of spelling, since children who are familiar with entry and exit flicks may progress naturally from separate to joined letters and are more likely to be able to read cursive writing if they are already familiar with the formation of individual letters that are joined within words.
It would be more helpful to have an option that teaches entry and exit flicks for writing, with each lower-case letter beginning with an entry flick on the base line, and each exit flick indicating the point at which the whole letter is complete, whether it be on and then up from the first or base line (e.g. for /a/) and a slightly dipped horizontal exit flick that touches the first guide line above the base line, as in for /o/.

Not great
Attempted to use this by following the dots in the letters but the dots would disappear and no matter how many attempts you made the letters wouldn’t form. There was no point keeping the app.
A lovely app but…
A really well put together app but my daughter and I found it really frustrating trying to draw the letters and numbers to the exact pattern as the green dots. It was very temperamental and both us got fed up with it. It would be better if you just allowed us to draw using a simple black pencil line without needing to follow the perfect formation.
