There are so many glitches with this app, did you guys hire a coder still in kindergarten?!
To name a couple problems; the demo mode looks like the full app, why would I pay for a account when everything is free?
When I’m on the demo mode, tapping on the profile icon locks the app, I cannot click on the settings, close the profile page the only option is to “Exit Demo mode” which brings me back to the App home page anyway instead of closing the profile screen.
Everything looks terrible, I’m sure the models look good judging by the pictures, but when I use them they look terrible and the lighting is so dark! It looks like they stuck a flashlight to the camera. I have played many AR apps and games and so many have lighting and graphics from this decade.
The everything is massive, the “small mode” makes the animals the size of my car, and the “medium mode” is half the size of my house. I haven’t bothered with anything else because I can only expect I need a football stadium to use it.
The actual experience of looking at animals is terrible, the tiny information box at the bottom of the screen is so hard to ready, especially for anyone with visual impairments. The circles pop in and out of existence like I’m being taught quantum physics, which makes it really hard to demonstrate this app to anyone.
There’s no reward or reason to do any word games, it’s a cool idea but how do I track the progress, how do I encourage people to do a labelling exercise when there’s no feedback, even a “Well done” or “Game Over” would be something.
There is TOO MUCH TEXT! I feel like every animal has an essay written about them by the sheer amount of text and no formatting, and even the phrasing sounds disconnected from the content. Please reconsider how much text you put in an app for kids, no one wants to spend 30 minutes reading some content copy and pasted from Wikipedia or the 1st page of google.
Overall, 1/10. There is barely any effort put into this app, you only need to spend a day actually using the app to see everything I’ve mentioned and more. I would not recommend this as a educational tool.

Great!
I am so glad that this app is available! I am a resource teacher at a daycare with different monthly themes that I use to develop my lessons around (about 12 classes a day with ages ranging from 2 months to 5 years old). The app helps to add more to my lessons, as I use a lot of visuals and hands on materials to help the children grasp concepts, learn, and explore. I hope the app continues to add more and grow.

Not suitable for early years
I tried this app out as I’m a big twinkl fan. It says it will customise for age, but I selected four years old and the resulting animation had huge amounts of complex text to read. Also the actual AR creatures float in mid air and are humongous. My red squirrel was bigger than my sofa and floating above my head despite me directing the camera at the floor.

Excellent App for my kids!!!!!!!
This Twinkle App creates a wonderful immersive learning experience & provides my kids with hours of entertainment, whilst learning at the same time!! My 3 children love all the dinosaur and solar system VR features! Will be recommending to all my friends - as it’s worth every bit of screen time!!!
Best Educational AR App
This is an amazing use of AR in education. The models are great and there is so many to chose from.
