Indie game with manga/anime theme

I discovered and played this game years ago. Please update this app for the fans. Everything about this game is rather simple: the graphics, music, controls and design. But despite its simplicity it is an enjoyable game. Cheap price and original concept. Optimised for iPad is a nice bonus. Only one other review besides mine. Overall it deserves more attention from both the developer and potential buyers. The 12+ age rating is a bit overboard (more closely resembles 9+) but better to be on the safe side I guess. All this game really needs is some re-working for modern app devices and iOS versions.

Doesn't work

It won't respond when I click on something....

Update

Need to update to the iOS 8 and I can't get passed the title screen

Seems unfinished

While the art style is very charming the controls sink the whole experience. Jumping feels very floaty and the precision required to hit the enemies is made frustrating by the controls.

More Twisted girls!

Big fan of HitmanNs art and now games by Leuvsion, art and music are great and game is very fun, with lots of hidden depth, recommend to loves of anime, manga and Japanese 2d adventures!

Fun

Well the game is pretty fun. I like the story line and the art work is nice. Tiny idea, can you make an update that lets you know in what levels some undiscovered fruit and diamonds are please.

Recommend to lovers of platforming classics

Played super Cora-bolt 2 first but then found this! This is a true platformer with a great sense of style and music, am dealing enjoying the vibe of this game. There also seems to be levelling up and RPG elements, am very impressed so far.

Amazing Graphics worth every penny

I just purchased this game for my Ipad 2 and am loving every minute!! The first time i played it solidly for 2 hours so be warned can get addictive!! lol

Story line is really good and I like the way you can unlock more to keep the game play going that combined with amazing graphics makes this game worth every penny.

Very enjoyable platformer!

Great platformer with a interesting story and stylish graphics, can't wait for a sequel ;)

Pretty Good

This game is a pretty good platformer, which for me definitely got better after the first characters play through. It's the little things about the game which I also like such as when it's raining your weapon gains additional power. Well worth the 59p I paid for it. Would preferably like to see a slight graphics update as the character sprites are a bit blury and unclear on my generation 4.

Poorly made.

This game is proof that making every female have giant breasts does not automatically make it a good game.

Awesome!

Great game, good gameplay, definately worth a download at 59p

Brilliant old school platformer

I love this game, only half way through but nothing but impressed so far. Feels inspired by some of the old school platformers, which is great in my opinion.

I like the fact that there is still plenty to unlock on the game and the original 3 story lines although similar have their own unique twist!

Best thing about this game is the Cora-bolt mini game, stupidly addictive but really hard very good fun, I'm currently trying to get higher on the leaderboard!

One piece of advise I would like to see this game landscape, but even that doesn't take anything away from this game at all!

Worth every penny!

Great game and fun

I like it how can u level up with Xp given, ane the 3 different history (replay value), keep updates

Definitly hidden greatness

This game is really good, well put together and full of really good ambition, great to see in the AppStore. But it does feel a bit rough around the edges. The menus are unrefined and some of the art needs another work over, also some of the levels end before you actually finish, like in level two on the first quest, i got pieces 123 and the last one and it ended without me getting the last one's.

Do not buy this game if you are looking for some epic high budget masterpiece, for this is not. But it's charming, and it overflows with independet creativity and if I were to compare it to film it would be much Like the hammer horror films of the 80's.
Good work, please update the game and make it even better ^^

Minor Flaws but Fun Overall

As a regular on HitmanN's forum I saw various sprites and notes about the game awhile before release. When I saw the note that it was up in the App Store I immediately grabbed it and started playing. Since then I have beaten each girl's story and played the remaining two and collected many of the game's achievements. As with the other reviewers I am a bit curious why portrait mode was chosen for the game and I have a few minor gripes about the controls themselves, overall though I enjoy the game. For those curious but unsure if it is worth the price I read a 'Lite' version should be coming out soon.

love HitmanN's artwork, but implementation is terrible

I bought the game because I love HitmanN's art. The game itself could have been much better if it weren't so frustrating to play.

There are a lot of things I feel wrong with the game. First off, the controls: the game was designed with the iPhone vertically in mind, probably to show full body art, but the controls are designed for two-thumb operation at the very bottom. Unless you have baby hands, there's no way you're going to be comfortable doing that in portrait orientation. It really should have been done in landscape, like most other games.

Secondly, there's the lack of instruction. Sure, it's a seemingly simple game on the surface, but a lot of things are left for you to figure out with trial and error. What do you get for leveling up? What does the sprinkler do? What does the water cannon do (got that while shooting a whole bunch of enemies, and mashing the A button made the explanation page disappear, never to return again)? Can you turn off the alarms after you've been spotted? Are you really stuck using one girl for the whole campaign?

The most frustrating part is that the game was designed around avoiding falling to your death. With terrible controls already, you'll be falling quite a lot. It sure doesn't help that the death screen says 'Gameover' with just a retry button.

Then, there's also the lack of gratification for completing a campaign. You get an intro sequence for the start of each campaign, but when you complete a campaign, all you get is a kick to the campaign select screen. Where's the satisfaction of completing the level?

All in all, good job on the art, but please playtest the game with non-biased people next time.

Fun, diverting game, great value.

This is a fun, cute game with elements of old-school platform games (Anyone remember 'Twinworld' with the free-standing doors?) I've missed that in platform gaming. The controls are quite responsive and sensitive which can be good or bad depending on your 'touch' - if you're heavy-fingered you'll 'overshoot' but it makes a change from games you have to 'stab' to control - the lighter touch needed here is a breath of fresh air to 'touch-pad-calloused fingers'. It can be hard in places but not impossibly challenging so you won't find yourself swearing loudly on the train and the graphics are pretty but not too 'cluttered'. Lovely little ipod game to divert attention for a while, well worth the price.

Hmmm

I am perplexed by this app. There are some strange decisions that were made, for example:

The bad- this game is TINY on the iPad. The game screen uses less than 50% of the screen, and only works in portrait mode. What side scroller doesn't use landscape mode??

There is WAY too much dialogue, and no way to bypass any of it.

The levels are are literally about 15 seconds long, then you move to another level. At least from the few minutes I have played.

The good- the music is awesome, and really sounds great over headphones.

The idea is great, the implementation is questionable.

I think this game has a lot of potential, but right now, I would not recommend buying it.
