A great app to play with my son
My son and I have really enjoyed playing with this app, however he is very much a beginner. It would be nice it there was the option to undo multiple moves so he could learn by his mistakes. It would also be nice if games could be saved so we can take a break when his mind starts to wander. Another feature I'd really like is to be able to be able to play between 2 devices but only allow players you have sent an invitation to (rather than being able to play anyone in the world). My son is only 6 years old so I'd prefer to shield him from global contacts.

Odd pieces design
The chess pieces are some strange, flat button-like design and I find them difficult to perceive as chess pieces.
It’s unclear how the different levels of play are structured and your opponent moves so fast with the “highlighted” last move a slight aesthetic highlight rather than anything especially helpful.
It needs to become much more like a standard Staunton chess set.

Beautiful symmetrical game and design
The piece designs took a minute or two to get used to but the benefits are amazing! The board is the same in both directions for both people!
Two Player Chess also for one player
I use this vs the AI to improve my skills by looking at the suggested moves in the game review. The different AI “personalities “ are subtle but really fun
Great Chess Game plus new features I like
I can now face another player, using this Chess game on my iPad, with the board and pieces displayed as in real life, symmetrical. Makes it more realistic and yet the technology behind it certainly adds many new dimensions to the fun and learning.
This must be a breakthrough in Chess on devices.
Using AI is helpful in improving my game, as I can select to have green dots show me legal moves for my pieces and I can also see, in case I miss it, where my opponent moved from, as the squares light up.
For those rusty at Chess or young people learning, this new approach is an educational challenge providing lots of fun.
With different personalities to play in AI including Bully and Superior, I’m aiming to play them, for now I’m on Basic.
I’m glad it’s available now, during this COVID 19 restricted era, because I think it’s intellectually absorbing and stress relieving, at the same time as educationally stimulating, in a fun way.
Thanks for a great game, well done.
