Restricted Moves

Please enable a mode where you can move your pieces anywhere. There is a block on letting the opponent get your king, even accidentally, and it takes all the fun out of it.

It’s good (with a small issue)

This app is great for playing with another person. The small issue is that the ai is very easy to beat, and I’m an amateur beating the ai’s superior mode.

Crashes my iPhone

Something i have never experienced before. Within 3 minutes of using this app my iPhone froze and i had to force restart the device. I have removed the app.

Best chess app for table top games with friends

So much good here... the unique symmetrical icons, the built in timer, the optional notation. No other chess app comes close in terms of quality local play, ease of use, and beauty. No problems yet. The fact that, as of this review, this app (and its ad-free alternative) have fewer than 40 combined reviews is positively criminal. Way to go, Adrian McPhee: hope to see more from you on the future.

Great app

This is a great app to play 2 player chess. All the other chess games are online and don’t support 2 player. this app is very underrated and I 100% recommend this for anyone who is interested in chess
