You only get a free trial for, like, ONLY 5 DAYS, THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY ALMOST $30 A MONTH!DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! โ๐ตโ๐ต๐ฐ๐ค
From free to paid
Tynker used to be a 4 star product. While there was some stuff that was paid, at least you could create your own coding project. Itโs not the best with no autosaves so crashes = some progress lost and some bugs with the engine especially with physics, but at least, there is quite a bit of customization which is nice. That was in 2023 though, now in 2026 and you literally canโt do any of that anymore without a subscription or account; THAT EVEN INCLUDES SIMPLY PLAYING WHAT HAVE PEOPLE MADE. Worse, the subscription after the 7 day trial is $24.99 a month, so not only is fully paid product now, but also an expensive as well. For this reason, Tynker is no longer recommended and Scratch is much better Tynker even if itโs online only since itโs 100% free. So the lowest rating of 1 star for turning everything free into an expansive subscription.

Canโt simply try it
Unfortunately I canโt simply try this app, even its most basic intro features, without signing up for a trail. Subscription required. Iโm a firm believer that if an app is good, it wouldnโt need to take this onboarding approach.
AMAZING, BUTโฆ
The only problem is if you have a account on the website, and log on the app, you need to pay :/
Tynker review

Good, but not worth it
It has good features, especially Minecraft modding and coding projects. Its just not worth the monthly subscription required to do those things
