• The bottom row of Typefinity's OSK on my iPad mini (6th Gen, from 2021) looks like this :::
[ Option | Globe | ForwardDel | Spacebar | ← | → | Kbd-dismiss ]
• Now tapping that third-position "Forward Delete" key almost anytime works perfectly, except with our text cursor positioned at end of almost whichever Edit Zone → where most inadvertently, in many apps, it causes 🟠 ~BackSpace~ to happen : yes, Backward delete indeed.
• This anomaly is easily demonstrated in e.g. a cell in Apple's Numbers app, or in the AppStore's top-of-screen Search field, or at end of a document in M$Word or in Agile Tortoise's Drafts or in their "Terminology" Search field, or in Apple's Messages app, or in Signal, or in a field in AirTable, etc.
• Most remarkably the darn "artifact" doesn't happen in Apple's Notes app. 🟢
• Will some day something be done about what I described hereabove regarding the absolute multitude of countless other apps ?

Better than default keyboard
There are numerous benefits of Typefinity versus the default Apple keyboard. There is one drawback that I would like to point out and one suggestion for improvement. The drawback is that any new voice dictation phrase should capitalize the first letter. The suggested improvement is if the cursor is at the end of a word and I hit the caps lockkey, suggested change in the correction bar should be an all caps version of that word. And where can I find documentation on all the features of Typefinity?

The best keyboard by far
This is what the default Apple keyboard should be. Having the number keys available all the time saves time and key presses. Just brilliant.
Removal of paste button - BAD
IOS 26 has made the standard way of pasting very unreliable. Often requires multiple attempts to get the popup. Removing the paste button from Typefinity will be a disaster for me. I don't care what permissions in requires to keep the button but, whatever they are, it would be ok with me.

Thanks for your feedback. We may bring this back as it turns out full permissions are also needed for haptic feedback on phones. It's too bad Apple only provides a single monolithic permission setting for keyboard extensions, because requesting it brings legitimate provacy concerns.

Ich fühle mich eingeschränkt, wenn ich auf iPhone oder iPad Hochzahlen und andere gar nicht so ausgefallenen Sonderzeichen (°, ±, ×, Pfeile) nicht einfach eingeben kann. Dafür ist Typefinity klasse.

Terrible Selection of Options and Limited Aggressively Censorious Dictionary
Not including profanity in the dictionary because mortality police for toddlers. Awful glide recognition that gives wrong words or no words 90% of the time. There are some aspects that are good, but the cluttered interface and no options to change it, and barely even any options at all... altogether regret paying $5.00 for this. It's practically unusable.

Hello, I'm sorry your experience is not what was expected. Just to clarify, the dictionary will add words that you use (when typed in text fields in sentence-internal or -end position) without restriction. There are options to remove some of the key labels if those are contributing to the feeling of clutter.
Mild annoyances are better than AI
Overall, worth the cost. Few issues around keys sometimes not registering due to blank space between keys and holding . Doesnt bring up ? But overall better than other apps that spy on you
Horrible performance.
iOS 26 - iPhone 16 Pro. Swipe typing is laggy. As in a 2-3 second lag between words. It also does not get words right most times. Even just tapping is slower than other boards.
You need this keyboard
I used the PadKeys keyboard for years on my iPhone. Recently I found that the PadKeys keyboard was no longer supported and had been replaced by this keyboard.
This has so much capability. I would buy it just for the arrow keys and the Return key - ever want to add blank lines in a message, the Return key is how you do it.
For $4.99, this is a no brainer. And it has so many useful and intuitive features. Even if you don't use it exclusively, it's really handy to have available.

Frustrating
Had hoped for this to be at least decent. Bought it for the privacy and swipe text but barely even usable. At this point I may have to trade privacy for function despite paying for it. Without exaggerating, less than 20% success rate even when using on a 13" iPad pro in landscape orientation. Rhymes with quit.

We found a bug that when transparency is enabled on iOS 26, touches between key boundaries were not detected. This has been fixed in release 2.3.2. We apologize for this problem.

Confusing transparent option. Shell and bold themes are almost the same.

Hello, "Bold" refers to the rendering of the key labels in bold font, otherwise it is indeed a copy of Shell.

iPad Mini 6 Problems (with Suggestions)
okay, first things first, this is the iPhone keyboard i've been looking for. just a few adjustments and it's all muscle memory. the swipe up for symbols, the numpad mode, the calculator mode—chef's kiss!
my complaints is when i use this keyboard on my iPad Mini 6 on landscape. it works good on apple native apps, but with other apps like messenger and youtube, the keyboard covers almost the entire screen. I'd give this five stars if the iPad keyboard size gets fixed because this is the best keyboard layout out there! the native keyboard sucks, GBoard is very obtrusive with the suggestions.
also, might i ask for a feature? it would be really cool if we could customize the symbols when we tap on the option button. floating keyboards on iPads would be great too.

Great Keyboard
Great keyboard. Would it be possible to allow iPhone to turn off text/word suggestion on the top bar to save real estate space? Or a compact mode that reduces spaces between keys for the same reason?

Hi, both are possible! You can either turn off iOS's shortcuts bar in Settings | General | Keyboards, or Typefinity's in its own Settings (Autocorrect Level). In addition, Typefinity has a "Short mode", accessed by long pressing the keyboard away key (iPad) or the Globe/Gear key (iPhone).
No arrow keys
There are no arrow keys in the Ipad version!
