TypeMetrics

TypeMetrics teaches typing on a real keyboard, and shows you what you have learned. PER-KEY MASTERY YOU CAN SEE The app opens on your keyboard, filling. Every key shows how well you own it, and the outlined keys are the ones to practise next. LESSONS BUILT ON REAL WORDS Beginner lessons use real words from the first one, and only keys already taught. French lessons cover accents, the apostrophe and the AZERTY number row as they are. A separate track helps you move from AZERTY to QWERTY, or back. QWERTY AND AZERTY Both layouts have their own lessons, their own finger guide and their own order of keys. THREE KINDS OF LEARNER A young beginner works in letters per minute, with no speed pressure. An older child and an adult each get goals and lessons of their own. FOR FAMILIES Several profiles on one device. Buying, links out of the app, export and deleting a profile ask for an adult. Game Center stays off until an adult turns it on, and is never offered on a child's profile. POSTURE, ON THE MAC On a Mac, the camera can check how you sit and prompt you to straighten up. It is off by default, everything is computed on the device, and no video is recorded. NO ACCOUNT. NO ADS. NO TRACKING. Your typing results stay on your device. iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro.
