Only for business accts?! Lots of work still.
The app description gives no warning that the iOS app isn't for their standalone customers. The comparison chart for account options says videos are accessible on the mobile platform at all pay levels. After logging in to my existing account and going through the 6-7 screen welcome (which looked to not load fully either) - THEN the next screen says “The Typsy App for Apple Devices is currently only available for to Members of a Business Account.” with a logout button. The app also uses the obnoxious login process of opening typsy.com on Safari for the login screen. This froze the 1st attempt, so I tried selecting no/cancel on the login permission pop up, that did nothing, and after refreshing 2-3 more times safari finally logged in. (I do not have this issue with the website.
I was planning to recommend the site to one of the country’s largest retailers for the beer, wine, & spirits sales associates because we have been searching for training options for them. At this point I ended up deleting the app though. Maybe after some further updates I’ll be able to update my review & actually use the app. Hoping for more alcohol education careers & videos in the future.
