How To Get This To Work
Recently my UBackup drive mounts every time. Don’t know what I did but now it works just like any other flash drive. Can I suggest using an ai to help figure it out. Good luck!
Garbage
This app and thumb drive are both garbage. I downloaded .3 tb of info and most of it didn’t work. It made two files called found .000 and found .001 and they won’t erase! I’ve tried everything from deleting everything on it and deleting the app completely, and when I plugged it into my computer those to mysterious files don’t even show up! Ridiculous I agree with hobo completely

I uploaded 890 photos and i can only open to view maybe half of them this app is terrible save yourself the time and money. This app is total garbage !!!!!

It's not worth it, man. I know you're thinking: Well, I bought this drive and I might as well TRY to use it even if it seems like a virus; but I promise to you, it's just not worth it. It works with android or laptops, but for your iOS device, just give up. I'm sorry, you've been scammed like the rest of us. What a cool design for a flash drive, right? That's what I thought, too... I'm offering everyone here a cup of coffee, or tea, or hot chocolate for their sorrows.

Can’t be connected to phone
I trusted this stupid device and saved important files now it can be connected to phone or computer so don’t buy this stupid device

Beware that the app eats your data when backing up your photos. I’ve no idea why when it’s supposed to be pulling your photos off of your phone. No mention that it will use your data in the App Store description. Used 4gb backing up 1000 photos. Not happy at all.
Absolute Junk!
DO NOT purchase! UBackup will not save any video that will play. You cannot clear cache. It continues to fill up and the only way to clear it is to uninstall UBackup. I have tried every possible way to load videos on a 2 TB flash drive that requires UBackup to function. After a full format of the drive only the first few I loaded would play. And since that none will play. Using a 120 gig flash drive with CooDisk every one I tried with UBackup that did not play will play using CooDisk. I thought at first it might be the fault of my phone camera taking 4th of July fireworks and family gatherings. But they all play using CooDisk. UBackup is absolute Garbage and a total waste of money! One star is way too much credit!

Format
The usb drive will only work with Microsoft
And not with iPad because I found out that it can only format to Microsoft or Apple not both .

Latest Update Not Working
No stars if possible. Update: Jan 7,2025. Still no new updates, no changes. App needs a serious update to work with ios 26! There is no way to get in touch with developers. Emails go unanswered. The worst!

A joke
If you have a month to sit around and wait for everything to download, then this is the app for you. It’s a joke. Wish I had never purchased the flash drive that uses UBackup.
