Fabulous app... maps all your videos & uploads them nicely
This is a great app that works beautifully. It takes over your video camera and let's you record your videos on your device with GPS attached. You can then upload your videos to your online Ubipix account and see them played back with the position of the video plotted on a map. This works really well and the alignment of the video and the map is very accurate. The app also records the orientation of the device, which is shown in the online display. You can download the videos from your online account to your computer.
I have used this on holiday and on cycling tours... it is great at recording where and when you took your videos. I like the way that the website allows you to browse the video on a map.
There are a few aspects to the app that can still be improved: it only works in portrait orientation, and this is not the easiest when used on an iPad, and you can only upload videos if you set them to 'public'. However, these two issues do not stop me giving this app a big thumbs up and 5 stars.

Nice idea, poor execution
the app won't start recording unless it has a good GPS fix, but there is no on screen cue as to whether that accuracy has been reached (and the maps app looks plenty accurate). The buttons all look like they are dragged straight from XCode and they need a little proof reading of their help pages.
