One of the best options out there!
uBlock Origin is a must have on all your devices. Not only is it customizable but it’s 100% free to use. I’m also a fan of the “remove an element” feature. I was happy to see it available in the App Store.

This is genuinely the BEST ad blocker I have ever used. I’m not even exaggerating when I say this thing basically saved my life. 😭 Before installing it, I was fighting for my life against pop-ups, and 500 ads every time I tried to do anything online. (Though it does not that well with redirects js close the website easy fix) Now? PEACE. SILENCE. FREEDOM.
It works insanely well, barely requires me to do anything, and makes browsing feel 100x better. I genuinely forgot how unbearable the internet was without it. Whoever made this deserves a Nobel Prize, a mansion, and unlimited happiness for the rest of their life.
If this ad blocker has one million fans, I’m one of them. If it has one fan, IT’S ME. If it has zero fans, I have left this earth.

Zero-stars on iOS; 5-stars everywhere else.
Only apple-approved safari-specific extensions work on iOS. Apple forces ALL browsers, apps, plug-ins, and extensions to develop the app directly inside Apple's app-specific WebKit sandbox. Any app or extension is developed to be used for a specific web app, not designed to be used across multiple applications.
Other than on iOS, this is a 5-star app!
There are so many exciting extensions and add-ons on the scene, surely this will become a real limitation for iPhone.

Случайно практически установил после отзывов на Пикабу))) Ребята там искренний пост сделали с благодарностью за этот бесплатный блокировщик, я и установил. Он правда бесплатный, и действительно реклама посреди просмотра онлайн кино перестала прерывать просмотр. Устанавливал изначально, чтобы аниме без реклам попробовать смотреть))) В общем, огромное спасибо за этот блокировщик хорошему и доброму разработчику Раймонду Хиллу!🙏 ✊

Not as effective on iOS 26?
Seems like upgrading to iOS 26 from 18 was not the move for another reason. uBlock was much more functional back on iOS 18.

It works, when it feels like it, which is about 30% of the time even with all filters toggled on. There are no good Ad-blockers on iOS Safari, so this will have to do for now. What is especially annoying is the cookie notices that pop up on every damn website.
Weird activity
After downloading it worked for a few days the suddenly I was searching things up and it al went to yahoo instead of google. (Meaning there’s a hijacker on your computer.) Reading some reviews of people who also had security issues after using makes me think this is not a coincidence. I didn’t instal anything suspicious. Only after deleting this ad blocker and restarting my computer and running a malware scanner did the hijacking stop.

Limited blocking info, lots of issues.
A lot of reviews are raving about this being great but I am not seeing it. It doesn’t show you what it’s blocking on a website (Zero information at all), and frequently pages crash in safari and go into reload loops until this plugin is disabled.
I want to like this plugin, but it’s causing me at least as many issues as a crippled adguard, expect that it provides less visibility into what it’s doing, and has no option to *temporarily* pause filtering.

Thank you! This is an absolute must have to browse the modern web! I would trust gorhill with my life. I don’t understand how normies use the internet without this.
Greatest extension ever
I’ve never been happier that this extension was made. I’ve read all the GitHub development documentation, and it definitely wasn’t an easy road to get here, but Raymond Hill and the amazing volunteers have done an incredible job with this extension and keeping it updated.
I’ve been using it for more than a year now, as I installed it a week or two after it went live, and I genuinely haven’t seen an ad since. I also love that it blocks trackers and other nasty stuff.
And the one-star reviews I see for this app are definitely from people doing something wrong, because this is so easy to set up. You literally just enable a few toggles and you’re done, with the only maintenance being to keep the app updated.
Also, if you have any problems, there’s a fantastic group of people on GitHub and Reddit that can help fix whatever issue you might be having.
Plus, it’s free ❤️

Endgame ad blocker for a very long time now on any supported device.
It may be the lite version but it’s got most of what you need to still tweak it, if you are having any specific website issues regarding ad-blocking.
Seriously unless Apple themselves decide to create an official adblocker, this the best there is.
