Why was this even made?
So everything you see on the preview doesn’t exist, timetable, notice board, map. Nothings works. At best it’s an app with links.. This is a replacement for UCGo which was A FULLY FUNCTIONING APP. Which has now been abandoned. Uc mobile is the most useless app I’ve ever downloaded. 0/10 i wish I could go lower.

Finish the app before you release it
It doesn’t have any basic features that you need working and not a link to a different website. The only credit I can give is that it looks better than UCGo but without any of the functionality of it
Why?
So we are being forced to use this new app which had less features and is more frustrating to use? The previous app was fine, maybe you should had released the new app when it was actually finished, the thought process is genuinely stupid.

Old app was fine and now this app just makes you go through the uc website for everything. Millions of 2FAs. Barely works. Just let us use the old app till this is finished

Do you guys even look at the reviews??? Everybody is asking for the same thing which is a usable TIMETABLE, which is arguably the most important and necessary feature. Please fix the timetable soon, or at least let us continue to use the previous apps timetable in the meantime, otherwise what’s the point?? For future reference, if you’re going to force everyone to use a new app, then it’s a pretty wise idea to make sure that the new app is READY!!!

Why would you ever release a new app when the old one was fine? On top of that you can’t even see the timetable yet, so really it’s worse than the old app.

Timetable features not there, not map or anything useful. Only access is student services, everything else is unfinished or links. Whats the point in having an app when it’s 90% just the UC website?
At least let me look at my timetable in the app from the app please, that would be nice!
Visuals are nice and a bit less confusing, but thats about it. I was hoping that they’d at least improve the issues with the old app, like making it easier to view the map and find locations etc (which by the way is only a minor gripe with UCgo), or make it possible to look at your timetable offline, but no they decided to constantly plop you on the ever confusing UC website where you have to go down ten billion rabbit holes to find something that vaguely resembles what you’re looking for.
TLDR; student nightmare. I don’t think they seem to care as much as they say they do, first we got 2FA forced on us now out actually useful app is being shut down in favour of something that isn’t even finished and contains currently no useful features to help me find the right lecture theatre or lab (you’d think that would be higher priority, making sure those who pay money to be here don’t get lost and miss their classes!)
Anyways I could rant all day. Sorry tech team, but I’m fuming. Hopefully somewhat politely. I understand where you’re coming from but I’d appreciate a fully working app next time, cheers

Campus map feature is worse
The campus map was by far the most useful feature for me in the old app, as you can type in room codes from your timetable (eg F2) and the map will know that it’s in the forestry building. The new app doesn’t have this and this is particularly disappointing as the old map search is very useful for new students who don’t know the name of a building

wow I really want to have to use the authenticator app just to check my timetable each time. I also love the feature where it doesn’t save my login to v plate, i’m stoked that i get the opportunity to put my full email and password in every time! yippee
Why can’t we stick with UC Go?
Being forced to switch to an app before it has timetable access is absurd.
