It’s Ok but missing soo much
UI needs work. The tournament rules are awful, where is the option for a blob to move backwards on a double or jump another blob on a double. The game tends to become stagnant.
Update. Something seems off with the dice roll. Last 4 games I have had at best 1/3 the 6’s of my opponent.
Playing the CPU is a farce. Miraculously alway gets the correct number needed to get you or the roll gives you the only miner that screws you over.

Move time
Is it possible to reduce the move time from 1min 30secs to a minute as a fast game is always a good game at least that’s what I was always told. Oh and by the way the game is great and has brought back many a good memory when playing in the Squadron crew room, especially on night shift when we weren’t up to our necks in aircraft fault rectification. Cheers.

Needs Work
It needs attention to detail before I commit to paying for the app. I win every time as the bot is too predictable.
It’s crashed.
It’s crashed. Playing an opponent who timed out, it then took 1000 points from me! Started another game and the same opponent came up, it’s their turn and nothing is happening.
Really need to sort out the amount of players running the time out to swerve being 8 pieced. Must be about 8 people now who just abandon the game to save their stats. Let me know how to post the screen shots of the players jumping ship.

One more thing
In addition to my recent review, the scoring mechanism is woeful, particularly for the ‘global league’. Use an ELO system like chess, so it isn’t just the people who play a lot and don’t quit or up-board end up top of the leaderboard with zero skill. People with hundreds of wins but a couple of 8-pieces should be put on a different scoring system altogether.
I’ve been informed that the above is factually incorrect. The global system still rewards those who just slog out (and have the time for) loads and loads of games as all but their top 10 games get deleted. Whatever the scoring system is, it’s (in my opinion) rubbish and needs an overhaul.

Addictive
Probably better known to most as Ludo however any ex Navy person played this version which is particularly competitive
I really like the Global league which is getting me into so much Afro with the wife for the amount of time I spend on it

Make a Mistake….
I recently gave a “one star” review and complaint about being unable to undo moves. It turns out there is an “undo” function that I had totally not seen during gameplay…..my fault. So I’ve edited my scoring on this occasion to 5 stars.
Thank you to the developers for pointing out my mistake.
Keep up the good work with this game. Loved it for years and missed playing it when I left the RAF.

Get me a G+T someone’s getting 8-pieced!
Just a minor quibble but, for example, you throw a 2 and a 3, you should be able to move 2 then 3, or, 3 then 2, landing on a different square as the situation dictates. The game only allows a single move of 5.

I am a T&”t
I recently left a review about no free play option. Which is incorrect. When I downloaded the app I was confronted with a screen asking to upgrade or start a free trial then pay per month afterwards. As a grumpy old man this made me more grumpy and I never noticed that I could close this screen down thus achieving access to the game. Apologies to the developers as this is a great game and I hope it continues to thrive and deliver Uckers to the masses.

Great game but buggy
I enjoy playing, but the bugs are frustrating with no opportunity to report them for fixes, and example your opponent times out but you get -1000 points
Hooked on Uckers
I am just hooked on this game. I played it years ago, when serving in the WRNS. I have so enjoyed brushing off the covers and playing again and improving my skills. Lots of tactics are involved in working your way around the board and preventing your opponent from doing the same. The doubles version is also great fun, working with your partner. If you can’t find a player with the auto match, then using the link to post on the WhatsApp group or invite a friend. The WhatsApp group also figures you the chance to discuss play with other players and flag up any queries with the developers, who respond very promptly. Great App, which will only grow.

Can’t stop playing. This is so addictive!!!
Uckers is the perfect blend of luck and strategy. The rules are easy to learn so good for players of all ages. Each match brings a new challenge which requires quick thinking and planning ahead. You can challenge others via what’s app in the Uckers game play group or be partnered via auto match. The developers have worked hard developing a global league which adds a truly competitive edge to the game.

Fantastic version of the great game
Love this app! Lots of rule variations that bring back memories of playing the physical game. The introduction of a scoring system and timers is inspired! Highly addictive and, with the competitive element of a league - I can’t praise this enough. Brilliant!
What has happened?
Bought and enjoyed earlier version. Having spent 40 plus years playing this great strategy game 🤔 This version is WAFU. No longer on board with it and looking for a broom handle. Good luck, you may well need it.
Great game keeping RN tradition alive
Well built and fun to play.
No players
Been in the navy for 26 years and still going for my sins, playing Uckers is pretty much a daily thing for me even setting up practice games wit the sprogs.
This app is very good, however I have been on it every day and testing it last few days, and each time I goto play online…. It never finds any players at all and it’s frustrating, even though looks like I am 391 on the LB without playing. So I don’t understand how we play online when can’t find anyone to play with.

Frozen screen
Love Tucker’s when I was serving so saw the app and downloaded it. As soon as I get to the personal data screen the app freezes so sadly only 1 star.
Constructive Criticism
Game is flawed. Let me explain. Firstly I’ve yet to meet any other player on line so only played against the auto bot. Secondly, it’s easy to win because the auto bot doesn’t follow normal sensible uckers rules. Examples:
1. When in a situation where a player would move any other piece to prevent getting a “mixy blob” behind the other players blob, thereby preventing the opportunity for a “six off” the auto bot readily mixes up.
2. When running for home to prevent an eight piece dicking, it never runs the nearest color i.e if a blue could be run home easily to score - it runs a green all the way around the board.
3. Even if moving a single piece would make more sense, if a double is thrown, any blob is advanced, even if that gives the advantage to the other player.
4. When a six is thrown, instead of “sixing” the blob on or near the opponent’s doorstep, the auto bot gets out a piece thereby enhancing the possibility of mixing up behind that blob.
