Ugears Models are awesome. Ugears tech is old, buggy, and underwhelming.

The camera and scanning interface works beautifully now!
There does seem to be a lack of engineering/physics teaching, and the app does seem to be quite minimal in terms of utility.
The team does seem to be working on the app, though. And considering the state of their country I can’t exactly blame them for oversight.

Very baggy app. Does not work for UGEARS Differential. If you want to rate this app - it points you to Stew’sMagicBlaBla that looks like a different app. I’m disappointed.

Buy the model, skip the app
Downloaded the app to play with my manual transmission model but it’s super buggy and I can’t scan anything with the camera, and it looks like maybe I have to pay for the different models?
The app just doesn’t work at, but the physical model is super cool! Will make a wonderful desk toy and demonstration for curious minds.

Isn’t working at all
It’s impossible to use this app, huge amount of visual bugs
App won’t scan
Love the models but the app is garbage. Won’t scan won’t work on my iPhone or iPad.
A for effort in an app that is a complete non starter!
Doesn’t recognise the model, tries to show me what the finished item will look like in the house but won’t get to the instructions on how to build it.
Perhaps that’s the intention and I’ll just have to imagine the finished model on a shelf somewhere :/

Scan the model
I’m having the same problem as the other user. I’m following the tutorial, it’s perfectly lined up but still won’t recognise it. I’ve got the pendulum model.

“Scan the model” just doesn’t work
The scanner isn’t working
I’ve recently got my first Ugears model the pendulum I’ve built it fully so I decided to try the app I tried scanning the model and nothing happened so I pressed the little question mark and watched the video I did what it said to do and still nothing happened could I pls have some info

ちゃんと反応したのは２つだけ。
延々とカメラでモデルを同じ角度で合わせようとしてもさっぱりロック解除されず、酔って吐きそう。
こんなんだったら、モデルと画像合わせるんじゃなくていいから箱のコードスキャンしたら見れるとかにしてよ…。
組み立ては楽しかったけど、アプリは微妙。それ込みの値段だと考えると残念。
