UK Flash Cards

There are plenty of flash card apps on the store, but all seem to be American English. I have written this iPhone & iPad app for my family and friends children. Hopefully it will help yours too! With several primary school teachers in the family, they've all had an input too! ============= UPDATE: 23 May 2011 Thanks everyone for the fantastic reviews! The most requested feature was for the app to read out each card to your children. The good news is that this is nearly complete! The update should hit your devices in the next week or two! ============= Reading many of the reviews and trying out several apps myself before this one, I was frustrated with the lack of configuration. I wanted to be able to turn words off (or on!) on each card. So this app is completely configurable. The app settings are located in the device settings (accessed through the home screen). This means that when you are in the flash card application, the user cannot accidentally change anything (perfect for little children!) There are 162 images across 9 categories - 3 letter words - 4 letter words - 5 letter words - 6+ letter words - Numbers (0-9) - Letters (Aa, Bb etc) - Colours - Shapes - Body parts (eye, ear etc) All the images are high resolution beautiful images. I'll be adding more on a regular basis. If there's anything that you'd like to see, please let me know. I'd be happy to include it in later releases!
