Annoying video ads
Shows annoying video ads whenever you view a business. Also the default cookie options share data with hundreds of organisations.
New version really poor
This app has gone backwards. If you name a restaurant and search it doesn’t bring that restaurant up, it simply gives a list of restaurants in the area which you then have to scroll through. There is one restaurant nearby which comes up as you type the name but then doesn’t appear in the list. It’s such a shame as the app had previously been very useful, but is now very hard work to use.

So flawed
It can’t find restaurants if searching by name. When in near me mode the list is not in alphabetical order so I have to scroll through the whole list just to find a particular restaurant.
Works great now on the Apple Watch
Would love to donate option to get rid of ads. Works great on the watch now. Support for compilations would be ideal so you can access immediately
New update now has ads and no option to restore previous purchase
I have really liked this app. The new update looks great, but despite having paid to remove ads, the new update does not allow to restore a purchase and the ads are back there

Hi Sorry to here your having issues restoring your purchase. When you see the subscribe pop up at the very bottom you should see a restore link. Make sure your signed into the iCloud account that you made the purchase with and it should remove the ads.

Also if you had the ability to search out of your favourites, as I have many restaurants added, it would be nice to quickly find them.

Watch app didn’t work
Seems like a good app but the watch app simply doesn’t load anything and it’s not been updated in a year

Once you’ve eventually found the business you’re looking for the information is good but I’m not sure if it’s because I’m trying the free version but the layout on my iPhone is terrible and I find it very difficult to search for what I’m looking for. I’ve since deleted it and I’m using another app. If it had worked well I might have paid a reasonable amount for ad free but as it is I’m not even prepared to use the free version

Great but no Google reviews
Downloaded this app in preference to others because of the detail it provided for each business in terms of its hygiene assessment. Plus how this relates to assessments generally in the local area. I like the idea of combining this with Google reviews for venues as that would bring in another useful way of working out if a cafe/ restaurant was really for me. And would be in just one place. If that was sorted out I’d give this five stars.

Why are the recalls dates in the format year/month/date?

I Always use this app
We always use this app . Avoided a few 0- 2 ratings that looked nice from outside but grateful to know what’s going on behind closed doors (kitchen)
Useful app! Searching not very intelligent!
Grt app. Tells u wot for example trip-advisor doesnt. Know places to avoid.
Many missing businesses
There are a lot of businesses missing from this app and the GPS tracking is not particularly good either.
