I use this every year to add the bank holidays for England, and summertime start and end dates only. It does just what I need.

I installed the app hoping I could get a holiday for my dad and I before he goes to sea for 2 years and it made me pay so I did and then it all crashed not even happy the slightest

Adds multiple entries per holiday. I had up to 5 entries for the same day. Then I would have to manually delete them all. Went to the option to clear all entries within the app but some still remain without the option to delete them!

Until iOS 7.1 this App has worked very well on pad and phone. Duplicate entries caused by using the cloud had been easy to remove, however under IOS 7.1 I cannot delete entries and old ones, formerly deleted, have reappeared. If this bug be sorted I wold give a 5* rating.
Simple & easy
This app is very simple and easy to install on the iPad, seamlessly integrated with iPad Calendar huge range of holidays and special days can be selected. It's the sort of info you would think that iCal would come preloaded with.
Does not work
Had problems getting this app to work.
Following advice from app developer I reset "location and privacy" under settings-general-reset and it worked.
All the dates for holidays were entered onto my calendar and I am very pleased.
I had efficient and prompt support from the developer of the app for which I am most grateful.

More or less perfect
It takes just a few minutes to customise what public holidays and notable dates you want to add to your default calendar up to 2016.
Unlike the old iCal calendars you can edit the dates if you make a mistake (although it would be hard to get it wrong)
By the time I had clicked save on my iPad my iPhone calendar had been updated.
You can also add other calendars if you need them.
About the only criticism is that it only goes up to 2016 but if that means it's costing me 23p per year I can live with that!

Great App!
Just downloaded with no problems at all, does exactly what I want. All holidays now in calendar, including Easter - the one some have had trouble with. I think this is probably due to devices not having been updated. Highly recommend.

Hmmm not good
Only seems to work properly when regional setting is United States. Crashes when set to UK...so what's the point in being Uk Holidays?!!! Please sort it out developer.
Does what I expected
Surprised to see that Easter wasn't marked in iPad calendar, or any other holiday! This app did exactly what I wanted. No issues. You can choose which holidays you want by country, religion and year. Delighted
Perfect Synchronisation
I was surprised to find that the calendar on my iPad had no bank holiday or events on it listed. This app takes these shortcomings and gives an array of dates from various countries, religions, etc.
Now I have the knowledge of all bank holidays and important events for the next three years, perfectly synced and for the bargain price of £0.69!

Deletes past events
Very bad consequence of loading holiday dates into Calendar: all past events are deleted!
Just the job
This app works so well and incorporates holidays of choice straight into you iPad calendar. Had no problems and works very well on iPad 3
Just one thing to be aware of, delete any entries for 1st April 2013 as iOS does not like it and will crash when you select March 2013, this is not the fault of the app, it's a fault with iOS.

Crashes with No Support
Downloaded and had to uninstall, reported to supplier who said that it was apples faulty with their software and had to report it to them. You would have thought that they am their software to work with the OS not the other way round, no refund even after asking twice. Not recommended in any shape or form.

Does what is says it does, brilliant !
Not strictly holidays
Firstly, the app's name, meant I was expecting this app to just show bank holidays for the uk. It in fact shows other days such as valentine's day (as well as other countries) Im never quite clear when bank hols occur so, for me, I would have preferred to select just bank Hols and ideally just English ones. But on the whole this is a great idea and I added in mother and father days!
One error I noticed was when you use the 'same for other years' when you select, it does not do this properly for New Year's Day bank hol-this is a substitute day in 2012 so when you deselect New Year's day it does not pick it up in 2013 and 2014.
Love how all the Hols then simply appear in my iPad calendar.

Great App
So simple but a great idea. Essential and recommended.
Handy app, does its job well.
Neither Apple nor Google seem to be very good at providing UK holiday calendar feeds. A quick search turned up this app, and it did exactly what I needed, allowing me to create all the UK public holidays for the next few years in a new, separate calendar on my phone (you can also add them to an existing calendar.) With Apple's iCloud syncing my calendars, too, I now have this holiday calendar available on all my Macs. Useful!
Also, I was glad to find (after I'd added all the holidays to the wrong calendar by accident) that it has a facility to remove the added entries, too, and that seems to work just fine.
If I could add one thing to this app, it would be a separate listing of actual public holidays in England -- i.e. the days when I don't have to go to work, which are the important ones for me! -- but it didn't take long to weed out the non-holiday events using the app's simple interface, and that's not much of a hardship, once every few years!
All in all, a very useful app at a very reasonable price.
