No good with wifi
Have bought the air conditioner about three years ago. Had a little trouble with the first app that came with it not much trouble. They finally disabled the app completely and gave us a new one. The new one worked once maybe twice but haven’t been able to connect and use it almost at all. The air conditioner works great but if you want Wi-Fi, this is not the one for you. Air conditioner five star, Wi-Fi connect zero star.

I bought the USPC01W Smart WiFi Portable Air Conditioner in 2022 with the specific selling point that it can be app controlled and scheduled. The original Ukoke app let me connect the device and the functionality was GREAT. Then the air conditioner disconnected from WiFi and it never let me reconnect the air conditioner ever again. It didn’t help to reset everything, delete the app and try again. Delete my account and try again. Then Ukoke came out with this app. And again the device let me connect once. At the first moment my WiFi went down, the app quit letting me connect. It’s now been 3 years since I got this product, and it functions great except the WiFi connection. It times out no matter what you try. I really wish Ukoke would resolve this since I keep seeing the exact same complaint everywhere online. Their tech support is absolutely useless, and in practicality the connectivity issue renders the app useless too. It’s actually ridiculous that a company would have faulty apps in today’s world where literally everything is run on apps and the technology is readily available.

Phone Number Error fix
I also was having the same issue where it did let me go bypass the phone number verification. I logout completely from the account and I logged in manually with my username (not email or phone number, or gmail or apple account) just an old fashion log in, and it worked. No phone number needed. I am just posting this here in hope of helping others.

I had to download this app since the original one was no longer available. This does not work at all. It asks for authentication and never sends a code. It won’t let you create a new account. This is a horrible app!

App registration is still broken, bought an AC used from someone, they must have set a schedule earlier, figured I’d have to get the app to clear out the schedule, can’t get the app so now the AC just randomly turns on and off

Who gave it a higher rating than a 1? I can’t get it to work. Was hoping to control my a/c with my phone from my bed. A curtain rod works better than this app.

Not sure what happened to last app which worked and allowed me to control my AC. This new app can’t even register to try and set it up.

Same results as others have mentioned. Error sending message after entering phone number. Can’t even get started… did anyone even test this app! Ridiculous!!
Doesn’t even work
Doesn’t even let you register your number to continue though the app. Just says message failed to send. So I can’t connect to my AC now until this app works.
