I like how it has an online ukulele, but when you try to do songs, it only shows you the chords.

Was great. Now broken
Recent update to suit 6 and 6+ has broken it for my ipod5. Reaching to the end of a chord sequence quits/crashes the app.
Enjoyable, simple to use & sounds great, but . . .
. . . this used to look like a ukulele & now it's pretty much a blank screen apart from the strings, chord & options buttons. I'm running this on an iPad 2 with the latest version of iOS 7, if that helps.
I hope this can be fixed soon as I like to use this app when demonstrating how versatile an iPad can be.

Incomprehensible
This is completely incomprehensible for a beginner, with nothing to get you actually started understanding how to play the instrument. It's nothing for free, just a trap to get You to pay. Dishonest.

Not your typical free instrument app...
I expected this to be lame, but I figured...eh. It's free. If I don't like it, my kids might. Not only is it not lame, but it is one of the more powerful free instrument "play" apps I have come across. The chords are preset and programmable, and there are a lot of songs, current and classic, to chose from. Many apps would make you pay an "in app"fee for each song, but they are included.mIt is the best free uke app I have found. Some things that would make it awesome: (and I would pay for this, for sure) is if the tabs of the chords were included with the chords. I am a private music teacher, and teach mainly 2e (intellectually gifted children with learning or sensory deficits, like autism or ADHD) The iPad is one of my main teaching tools. I teach voice and anything with strings for 8+ hours a day. Tabs would make this an app I could include in my lesson plans.The other add on I pay for would be some kind of rudimentary recording tool, and a way to copy/paste or import/export recordings to/from the app. I know there are many recording apps, and many uke tab apps...it would just be good to have them both in the same app for a relatively low price.
