most unusable money hungry greedy app ever tons of adds that pop up and when you click you can't go out of most useless thing ever no showing strumming patterns or anything just useless dead internet money greedy ad hungry app ever.
Great, not perfect.
I love this app, I love that it shows the chords as you scroll through the song, I love the auto-scroll option, I love the accuracy and variety. However, I can’t favorite anything because it logs me out every time I click on a song, and when I try to log in when I’m in a song already it just infinitely loads and says “authenticating”. So good, just buggy. Please fix this, it would make this app a perfect five stars!

Not very great at all
So I use the Uketabs website almost daily for my ukulele songs, and I really enjoy it! I thought that downloading the app would be just as good and much easier to use. It was not.
My app didn’t open until I had retreated my whole device and done a bunch of other settings. I finally managed to log in and begin, but it kept spinning and having that little loading symbol on the screen, which was very VERY annoying.
I didn’t mind the ads, there weren’t as many as people say, but sometimes the app would’t open and it would just show the loading sign on a white screen.
While I love the website, the app needs some *cough* A LOT of fixes.
Please get to this. Thank you.

Incessant ads and identity verifications
I really wanted to like this app. I’ve only had it for 45 minutes and so far there have been a great many ads covering the entire screen and 1/3 of the bottom, 4 “identity verifications” and 2 attempts to log in vs the spinny “loading” clock thingy. It really is unusable. I understand that paying for development and maintenance isn’t a hobby and takes resources, but I could overlook the ads if it wasn’t for the clunky operation and “verifications” every time I put in a search or try to look for a song. A Patreon membership to get rid of the ads only solves one part of this. I hate to say it but I found little value and deleted it.

So many issues
I really wish that this was a better app. It logs me out every time I close the app or leave it for longer than 5 mins. Too many intrusive ads every couple seconds. Just a really really poor design and it’s the same with the website. To the developer: please fix the ads and login issues. I’m begging you. I’ve been using the website for around 7 years and it’s gotten so bad I just can’t take it anymore. Please fix it.

Spooky behavior
I don’t know what happened but it started to scan my device so I just deleted it
Stupid ads/popups
Ads pop up mid song and switch it to another page within the app, and I can’t get out of them unless I close out of the app and open it up again. Makes it impossible to get through a song.
Love it!
This app is so helpful! I don’t like having a class where they teach me everything so having the ability to teach myself is perfect. There is one problem though, there are so many ads but you can skip them unlike other apps where you have stop everything and watch the ads. I have learned so many chords and songs. I am a big swiftie and there are plenty of Taylor swift songs to choose from. Thank you!!!!

Content is great but ADs ruin it
The Ukutabs site has a lot of easy to read tabs with other cool content, but the overly intrusive ads ruin the experience. Even after subscribing (to go ad-free) I found I had to log into it every time, having to wade through dozens of ads just to get there. The APP is just a browser In disguise. I cancelled my subscription within minutes of realizing how terrible it’s all built. I’d give zero stars if I could.

decent app over run by ads
probably the best app for tabs but the amount of pop up ads is insane, makes it so much harder to focus on learning a song when a full screen ad pops up 3 chords in and you have to stop just to close it out and another one to pop up on the side, then the process just repeats until you give up.
Could be great… but insane amount of pop-up ads
I’ve used the site for a long time and was happy to find they had an app. It’s such a great tool… in theory. But good grief, this app has more pop-ads than an early 2000s web site on an infected computer. I get it, you have to have some banner ads for revenue. But it’s so excessive that it makes the app completely unusable. You can’t get it to load, it crashes constantly, and the ads cover up enough of the screen that you have to constantly stop playing to try to close them. Half the time that causes the as to go full screen and you can’t get it to go away unless you force quit the whole app and start over. What a waste.

great app! pretty buggy though
I love the website and have been using it for years. The app and website have prettt much every song I want, which is really great. But for some reason the app keeps logging me out whenever I click on a song? It’s not a big deal but if I want to save a song for later it makes me log in again, and then logs me out when I go back to the song. There are also a lot of ads 😓 They don’t bother me too much when I’m on the website, but in-app they get annoying because the screen is smaller. Overall I do love the variety this app has to offer!

I use the website all the time so I happily downloaded this app. When I searched a song that I play from the website all the time it was not found. I had to go back to use their website again. It’s really too bad.
