All the quizzes and attempts to make me purchase something I already pay for EVERY TIME I open the app is absolutely crazy. Keeping only due to lack of alternatives.

Great for chords and tabs - when you can finally get into the app
This is the best app for tabs and chords and is pretty essential for me. Unfortunately the experience is often ruined by aggressive, dark pattern ads when the app starts trying to make me sign up for extra “courses” features I neither need or want.
I do not want and will never want courses thank you. I happily pay for the features I want.
Last week the guys started playing an adhoc song that’s not on our usual list and the song was half finished by the time I got the tab open to join in

Rubbish scam
Bought a sub that the app cannot restore, and their support refused to help me. The 7 day “free” trials also demand payment straight away. Stay away from this scam app.
Excellent….but
Yep, UG is great for looking up tunes but it would be even better if (as a subscriber) I didn’t have to be pummelled with ads to upgrade.
Extortionist app
I’m a paid subscriber and still get harassed to pay more and upgrade. Sick of the app, will switch to an alternative in due time. Shamefully extortionist management!

I bought a life time membership years ago but somehow was still charged $50 to use the app, and now when I try to open it, it goes through all these questions then tries to charge me again.
I pressed restore purchase but excuse me I don’t trust this app the press purchase again.

Bought pro but still get ads
Even after buying pro, EVERY time I open the app I get spammed with surveys and then prompted to extend my subscription. Absolute junk

So much potential if sheet music functionality was improved
As a pianist, the sheet music and in particular the pro versions have been very useful. But as someone trying to arrange various rock/pop songs for piano it's quite frustrating that there's a lack of customisation, namely:
-Only being able to view one section at a time
-Transposing results in difficult reading as it doesn't switch between to bass/treble clefs
-Inability to take notes
-Lyrics inconsistently showing up
I understand a lot of the tabs/music are community-generated. But adding functionality to customise it to bring it up to a functional level of that of Sibelius (but simplified for tablets and performance-focus etc) would be amazing. It would even justify a more premium pricepoint (if it was regularly updated and improved on, without bloat and less annoying pop-ups to upgrade)

Looking for a replacement app now
I’m a paid subscriber to this app and I am constantly interrupted by aggressive ad walls every time I try and do anything. I will not renew my subscription. Very very very annoyed and disappointed by what’s happened to this previously excellent app. The owners of this app should be ashamed of themselves.

I hate this godforsaken app. There are FAR too many ads. Good luck trying to find any chords or tabs. There is a 99.9% chance you will be tricked into clicking on an ad, and even if you aren’t, you have to constantly exit out of them. You cannot access any tabs without paying as well. You are better off watching YouTube tutorials and writing your own tabs.
