Simple and great fun. Comes in handy on long journeys with my children. It would be great if you could space out words, and have an option to randomise word categories.
Great but sometimes inaccurate
Ever heard of the animal ekaltadelta? No? Because it doesn’t exist. Even the 6 dictionaries they give you to choose from to look up the word you missed say this word doesn’t exist. I had to look it up on the internet. The correct spelling is ekaltadeta. Dictionary.com still says this doesn’t exist, but other sources say it’s some kind of pre-historic giant rat-kangaroo from Australia. Weird and highly suspect. But come on, at least spell it right. I lost the game cuz I can’t guess how you misspelled something.

Great Hangman App
Had this as a kid and recently redownloaded it. It honestly has not changed at all. No ads, works offline, the animations are cute. Not the flashiest graphics, but very functional. One thing I wasn't expecting is how useful it can be as a language-learning tool. It has multiple categories in spanish, french, german, and portuguese. While there is an "SAT word" category (and many others) that can make the words challenging enough for a native speaker, the basic english and basic spanish categories have very very common words for whatever level you're at (e.g., "and" "when" "porque" "ellos"). So that was a fun surprise! You can connect with a friend, a random player, or two players can use the app on one device, and it works well. Unfortunately, you can only do single words unless you don't need to have any spaces in your sentence, but that's the only complaint I can really think of. Though I will advise that there's no word-checker, so if you play with a random person and/or a small child, they may very well just give you a keyboard smash. It's a very simple app, very old-internet style, but I think it's great

Fun to play solo or with a friend
Love the animations, although the placement and contrast of the executioner artwork over the letters & spaces sometimes makes it difficult to see the letters and how many spaces are left.

Needs a fix
Like the game but the hangman covers the word if you near the end which spoils the game if you can’t remember where the gaps etc are ... please fix
Crooks
Paid to remove ads. Worked for a little while then refuses to now. This is like theft. Also the character gets in the way of the letters. Long time owner of the app. Now I am just PO’ed... Restore my purchase.
Most fun I’ve had in a while
This is absolutely a delight to play and the most fun I’ve had in a long while. The animations for the yellow theme is actually what convinced me to purchase ad removal. My mom, who is not into handheld games, got hooked QUICK. Well done!

I loved the animations and used to use this with my students when we had a few minutes and needed a break. However the animation now includes what kids interpret as a braw so I don’t dare use it anymore.

Fantastic!! They’ve now added more custom lists. I can now enter upto about 50 custom word lists. I’m using it to add a year worth of school spelling words. My son struggles to learn his spelling but with this app he is getting mainly 12/12 in his spelling tests. I get him to do the app during school run while I’m driving. Because I can hear the audio feedback from the hangman app plus the music I can tell my son doing this app and not switched over to a game. :0)

Can you allow me to add much more custom word lists. There are only a few available now. Say 40 custom word list or more would be great!!
2018 Update. — Thank you for allowing me to enter my son’s spelling list. I am now playing with my son each week to practise his spelling.
I have another request. Can you add more animation scenarios? They are only two or three scenarios. One where the hangman gets struck my lighting and another one. If there are more scenarios while the person is being created when you get a litter wrong and more scenarios when the hanged person escapes from being hanged etc. This will make it more entertaining.
The music is great. Love that the words are created in lowercase so my son can relate to his school reading & spelling. I’ve tried a few other hangman apps but this one is by far the best one.

YOU CAN'T DO SPACES SOOOOOOO UGHHHHHHHHHHH THAT TOOK AWAY 2 STARD! ALSO IT'D REALLY ANNOYING BECUASE HALF THE TIME I CAN'T FIT THE WORDS I WANT SO THAT TOOK 2 STARS! IF THIS IS NOT FIXED ASAP YOU WILL LOOSE A CUSTOMER AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE HOW BAD IT IS. Good luck. :)
