Shell of the game is nice. Mist features hidden behind paywall & logic doesn’t exist with trading, signing, or any transaction.
I miss the old version
The updates kinda ruined this game for me. I liked being able to upgrade specific attributes, but now it just makes the game boring for me. Kinda wish they would just undo the updates so we could have the old game back :(
Terrible Earnings System.
You upgrade your stadium and concessions it barely gives you a boost in earnings yet your facility maintenance costs go sky high. You can’t set ticket prices to help with costs. You can be as careful as you want to have lower salaries for staff and players but eventually you will go bankrupt before you can even win very much. The game then doesn’t let you move forward unless you have money which you would have to buy. I regret paying for premium.

Garbage
So basically you have to pay money to buy a special version to play a worse version of the old game but it’s the 3rd version right, lovely stuff
3’s don’t exist. VIP pass can only be completed if you sim every game for multiple seasons
Almost every game players love to move up on or in front of the line for whatever reason. AI algorithm is pretty rough in the cut scenes anyways. The VIP pass takes your involvement away from the game because you can only complete the pass if you aim multiple seasons without paying much attention to building your team mid season and watching games to make in game adjustments. It’s contradicting for you to have to go thought 50+ games for each level on the last half of the pass. We pretty much have to go through the whole season. With enough time in the day I can analyze around 50 games while enjoying playing the game. So the pass is making me rush to reap the benefits. The pass should more than a week. Atleast the amount of days to match with the level of its going to take so many games to complete one level

Terrible pay to win single player game.
I hate that I paid for the premium edition of this game when everything is basically pay to win you can’t earn TP you don’t earn money fast if you want to be able to do anything in your first couple of years, you either have to pay money or are you gonna suck for the first 10 seasons? You can’t even make trades without TP, which is a terrible feature.

2D engine in head coach mode only?
Update: 2D engine works in head coach mode, but can't be found in GM mode. Is it only available in head coach mode yet?
Also, is head coach mode the only option for a new player? What do they have to do to unlock GM mode?

Unfair but good game
Why is it that my 5 start 98 overall 30 year old has a 20k value but the bots is 100k w a lower overall lower potential , despite the unfairness it’s pretty cool time passer
Major bug killing the fun
Several months back, I found this new animation mode during matches, which I later found was a new feature called 2D engine that came with an update. I turned it off once, and now I just can't find the option to turn it back on. I tried everywhere in game, and this button on the top right corner of main menu screen just leads to a pop-up windows that writes "options" and nothing else, and no amount of restarting the app can fix it. I believe that's where the problem lies.
I can't just delete and download the app again since I got all the saved files and a premium membership. Please fix this, it's kinda nagging me knowing I'm kept away from a major new feature.

I haven’t found a way to trade my players is there a button I’m missing or is there none at all ?
Good game but Salary Cap is an issue!
I was really enjoying this game up until I realized the Salary Cap issue. I spent at least $50 of real money on extra DPoints & Money expecting to develop a championship team eventually. There should definitely be an option to turn off Salary Cap because it takes a while to even develop a decent playoff team. Once your team is decent enough you run into all kinds of Salary Cap & end up having to cut the good players that you have because you can’t pay them. Very frustrating. I deleted the game & i’m going to see about refunding my $50.

New Updates Destroyed The Game
I don’t even know where to begin (get ready for a long read lol) I have never written a review on a game before. If I had an issue with a game, I have always just deleted it and gone on with my day, but I have to write this or I’ll genuinely lose my sanity. I use to play this game back in 2023-2024 on and off and it was amazing, by far the best sports GM game I’ve ever played. But I just picked it back up about 2 weeks ago and it has become the most p2w greedy, unbalanced game I may have ever played (besides clash royale ofc). I’ll break down my top 3 concerns below: To begin, high overall free agents used to be locked for you and as you progressed and made a better name for your franchise you unlocked the ability to sign them. This was great because making a name for yourself truly made an impact on players’ perceptions of your team. You simply unlocked them and then agreed on a contract. Now there is a whole convincing power system, it doesn’t seem bad at first glance, but after diving into it you realize just how ridiculous it is. Literally mid 70s overall players are requesting upwards of 30+ power just to convince, meanwhile they are back up caliber players that have no business even needing convincing, id say a six pack and a please should suffice to convince them, I should not have to spend my entire years worth of power that I have obtained. Additionally, decent overall, but old (32+ year old) players are still asking 40+ pwr half the time, when in reality they would be lucky to even get picked up by a team. The whole system is busted and aimed at making free agency essentially impossible. Secondly, don’t even get me started on contracts. The max I used to pay a 5 star potential, high 90s ovr player back in the day was like low 30 millions per year and that was literally your franchise player. Now I have mid 90s players asking for 50+ million a year, that’s literally almost half of the entire salary cap. Not to mention low 80+ ovr players are now in the high 20 millions after their rookie contracts and older 70s overalls are like high teens sometimes even breaking 20 million (they could be signed for maybe 7-12 million a year back in the day. Meanwhile, the AI is signing these same players for half the price I’m paying, I literally see high 90s ovr players on ai teams for mid 20 millions while it costs me the same amount for an 82 ovr. Ridiculous. Thirdly, the devs have absolutely gutted the trade value of players when on your team. Previously, if you drafted and scouted well and found yourself 5 star recruits you could develop them and trade them for considerable amounts of picks or other older players with high overalls. It was a great way to reward players for drafting well by allowing you to get value back if you have too many 5 star picks to start them all and you want to trade a couple. Now-a-days I’ll draft a 5 star talent and develop him into to maybe an 80-84 overall by the 2nd or 3rd year of his rookie deal; I try and trade him and he’s worth max 5000 points of trade value. The game says that it is a negative and that trade value is decreased because he is still on his rookie contract, meanwhile that’s FANTASTIC. Ur still paying a 5 star 80s ovr player in the 5-8 million range, when in reality (due to these absurd new contracts) is averagely priced at about 20-25 million a year. So the trade system is now horrible too lol I can’t even fathom how the devs thought that any of these changes were at all good. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good challenge, when a game is too easy it removes any satisfaction I get when succeeding. But this is beyond difficult, it’s outright ridiculous and makes the game basically unplayable. I’m sorry this was so long. If you made it through the entire thing thanks for giving me a minute of your time to vent haha. If you would be so kind leave an upvote here so the devs see this and maybe consider actually bettering their game and showing any regard for their player base. Good luck and I hope maybe eventually you guys can build a successful franchise.

A great game to get sucked into for hours if bored

I’m a huge Sports Simulator Game Player. Big into 2K GM play. This game is pretty good. Is challenging which I really like. My first time around I was fired after season 30 my second time around I’m on like season 45ish and my 3rd organization with my 3rd title and 8th conference title. Without using any money. That’s the one complaint I have is that I do understand y’all are trynna make money but so many things can’t be used unless I buy premium and that’s just kinda lame. I do wish there was a little more variety in what I can do. Other than that not too bad of a game.

Add player/team options. Add the ability to motivate staff. Also matching the salary cap to real life or giving us the option to type a custom amount with a minimum-maximum amount please🙏

I would like to see in the game:
- Award for “sixth man of the year”
- stats: most points, assists, rebounds as well, instead of just the points per game. (Example: most points all time, most assist all time, not only ppg all time and etc)
- rookie player that does not play a single game in his rookie year, should be still considered rookie in his first season that he plays
- would also like to see an ab that shows top 15 players all time(in order 1 to 15, bet to worst)showing how many champioships , dpoy and mvps
- need more variety of names of players as well
-there’s a glitch that if a player wins mvp that he cant win dpy
