Need to hit the powerball to win
Unless you have unlimited funds you’re not going to be winning anything in this game at this point. Over the last couple years they have micro transactioned this game to death. They have removed so many aspects like something as simple as switching a players position and put it behind a paywall. The npc teams also seemingly get unlimited funds and these top tier in season gear boosts that aren’t available to you unless you spend a fortune of real money. I used to love this game and would even spend money occasionally to get a boost but it’s way too expensive now

Good Game, Lacking A Lot
For genuine GM enjoyers who like to build a team, this CAN be a fun game. Although it is pay to win without a doubt, nothing is too expensive. 5-6 dollars will make you a top team. My only issue is the horrible, absolutely HORRIBLE trade values. I have a 95 overall 5 star QB that is 25 years old and yet i can only get 2nd round picks for him. Yet i look at any CPU team of the same value and that QB is worth 4-5 first round picks, it makes absolutely ZERO sense. Please look at the coding for this game and see if there’s any improvements. I keep building a good team, but it’s hard to win when the #1 ranked team ends up with 3-5 first round picks a year and I’m stuck with my #32 pick

Potential
This game could be so good if it ran the same way as pocket gm 3, the entire base of the game runs around the scheme and all the other teams end up being like 95+ it’s so frustrating, but if your not looking for a “nfl-Ish” experience then this is your game
Long time fan very disappointed
I played 8 seasons. Won the Super Bowl 3 times. I enjoy the difficulty level and found a way to win.
That said, I never got my team better than 87 overall, while regularly facing 93, 94 and 95 overall teams. That’s the 2nd most annoying part. Facilities cost so much and coaches take so much tp to train to a decent level.
Blueprint to win this game. Strong OL and get a running QB. Run the ball as much as possible. Try to avoid outside runs. Even if your player has 99 speed, which mine does, the LB are always faster. Expect to score 50-60 points a game to win regularly because the AI for your defense will allow 50 points a game the majority of the time. It is a boring way to play but it’s the most reliable.
The QB play in this game is terrible. I design custom plays to get my WRs wide open and my 98 overall QB is throwing it into triple coverage all the time or waiting too long/too early for the play to develop and throwing INTs.
Last, the features being locked behind premium is obnoxious. I can’t use coach filters to help me find a good coach without paying? Why not have a system of watch 3 ads and you can have premium for a day or something? I know it’s not a lot of money for premium but I do not make purchases on apps so this is very restrictive for me.

Unethical tactics, avoid this game
The game offers a premium version where you can pay a one time fee to actually make it worth playing. It would appear that they have since updated the game, even for those who already paid for premium, to make it an illogical and unfun grind that can only be solved by paying more real life dollars. I do not see these changes listed anywhere in the patch notes. I see the developer directing users to reach out to a support email to get access to the old version of the game. Completely unacceptable business model and if this action isn’t rectified, I will be reporting this app and developer to the App Store.

The game has become so blatantly a cash grab, being premium isn’t enough, having a 99 overall team isn’t enough, being 5 pts overall isn’t enough, using motivations isn’t enough. Somehow, someway, a computer opponent far inferior will beat you in the SuperBowl repeatedly despite you being clearly the better team. What the actual hell is that all about…I literally pay for this game and it’ll make me lose in the championship to worse opponents every time.

This used to be one of my favorite games. This game does so many things well. There is so much detail about each person that is apart of the team that makes it really fun to analyze. But… The trade system has gotten much harder. Impossible even. Also, as your team gets better, all of the other teams get much better. My team starts around a 75 overall. It’s the worst team in the league. 8 years later my team is 84 overall but still the worst team in the league. I start a new game and the 11th best team starts at 84 overall. Basically, you need to pay real world dollars to have a chance anymore. It’s a shame how far this game has fallen.

AI teams can trade a 70 overall punter for two first round picks, it get ridiculous sometimes

The constantly climbing costs and CONSTANT FREEZES to game play across this and their American football platform make this a no go.
The game play is constantly stalemated by bad programming, math tiering, and ridiculous bugs.

Very challenging but fun
This game is not for the faint of heart. There is a lot of failure involved in playing this game but it makes you succeeding more enjoyable. There are normal annoying traits, especially with time management at the end of games (if the developers could fix that, that would be sick). It can frustrate you but there ate so many really cool features that make this game rival retro bowl. Definitely worth it

Game is well done however I would like control to place players in any position I think they would flourish, as of now QB has no other position same as Returner.
TE should be able to be FBs, and vice versa.
O linemen should be able to be D linemen and vice versa.
Biggest issue even if you are premium and but TP, the opposing teams will always be higher rated like some algorithm in the code. And if you want to play yourself get ready to lose all the time Lower rated teams will be making your Beastmode HB with 80 ball security fumble 3 - 4 times in the 4th quarter you will be intercepted on deflected over and over while you have no control of Defense the lower rated 65 - 75 team will march down the field with ease and score only for you to fumble on the next play in your own redzone!

Trading is impossible
In order to get a trade for a good player, you need to offer a better player and a good draft pick…. Making it practically impossible to trade for stars, and not being able to draft players that you haven’t scouted, or pick up FA’s you haven’t scouted makes it hard to rebuild. Otherwise a good game, if you can match scheme to the coordinator and get your coordinator to a 88+ you’ll be put in a good position. Just know that if you want a special teams player, pick them in the 2nd round cuz they’ll be gone by the 3rd.

Your cap room in this game sucks like if you’re trying to get a good team you can’t and your quarterback, wide receiver and lineman and running back have the IQ as a potato trading impossible as well like if I tried to trade three first round picks for an 88 overall they won’t accept that and also when you trade for players and they go down like 10. Overall bro.

I don’t get the cap. All the other teams have like 90 overall on all there players were is the cap? But then when I try to get a few 90 overalls to try and win more games I need more cap. The other team gets infinite cap and all of their players are 90 but when I get 3 90’s I run out of cap it doesn’t make sense. I understand it is supposed to be hard and challenging but cap doesn’t make sense. it’s like your forced to lose. I like the ultimate QB that game is good but this… if you fix the cap I would give this 5 stars.
