Doesn’t support ultimate 2 wireless controller

Doesn’t support ultimate 2 wireless controller, supports the bluetooth version which I opted not to get due to compatibility issues with my other devices. Can’t rebind as I don’t have a windows computer and this app is missing major devices in their product line.

Don’t just DONT

It will brick your device , I thought I could use this app for updates and when try and connect it to my switch it doesn’t let me. It was working fine before I connected to my phone.

Broken and missing functionality

You cannot use this software to update controller firmware, nor does rebinding the extra buttons work at all. After binding the back buttons and extra shoulder buttons, they don’t actually do anything when attempting to use the controller on my Switch 2. The software also can not be used to create macros.

Missing inputs

Why does my “Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller” have back paddle buttons yet this app doesn’t let you send M1 and M2 signals to iOS that are clearly defined in the controller SDK? And they are so obviously visible in iOS controller settings. 8BitDo just says “nah, best I can do is let the back paddles copy another input”. This is made even worse by the fact that that iOS hijacks the “back/select/view” button. You know, the one that’s used by 90% of games for stuff like inventory, maps, settings. Not possible. Thanks for nothing.

It won’t even pick up my Ultimate 2 wireless controller.

Disappointed.

The V1 or V2 app does not detect the Ultimate 2 wireless controller even when it’s already paired to the iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth. I was hoping to be able to remap buttons on the fly when traveling and don’t have access to a computer.
