Used to be great
I learned many words in a way that helped it stick. But since I got a new phone I couldn’t log into my account. I tried to make a new username and there was an error. I went to my old device and deleted it from the phone erased my Apple ID then tried again on my new phone and it still gives an error message when logging in. I tried contacting the developers and they have not responded. I think you guys should remove the app if you aren’t going to fix the issues. This has been going on for months. So maybe a negative review will help whoever work out the problems.

Galvanize
Honestly, this is the best Vocab app I’ve come across. Everything is really good, I just have one complaint: when I’m viewing the words in my sets, I’m unable to see the ones that are under Memory Mode until I unlock it. I find this pretty annoying because I’m able to do this for all the other sections. All the words I’ve learned have been piling up into Memory Mode, and I’ve been forgetting some of them because of that. I would have 0 complaints with this app if you could fix that. It would definitely help a lot with remembering terms. Thank you.

The best!
It uses all the well known techniques used for bolstering one’s vocabulary, with a unique concept of their own. It helped me a lot during my GRE prep and now years later I am preparing for another competitive exam and this app is still providing its value!
Really hope that this app stays in the app store, bit worried that it did not get any update for 3 years. It would be a great loss for future test takers if this little gem is not there to assist them. Hope that doesn’t happen.

Most likely a scam
I tried to create an account after downloading the app. Apparently the app was blocked as a privacy threat. I tried three times before my roommate told me they kept getting push notifications about the threat.

Best vocab builder app!
Before this app, I tried many others and this is by far my favorite! It asks you the same word in different ways and the definitions are awesome! They have a picture, synonyms, and antonyms 🤓

I have used it for a while and I saw a big improvement in my English vocabulary. This app is easy to use and very effective. Great choice of words.

Love this app! Excellent for refreshing vocabulary I’ve forgotten over the years. I like that it keeps reinforcing words you don’t get correct 100% of the time.
Asks for phone number
Before I can access anything, the app asks you put input a phone number.

It’s an amazing app to improve vocabulary and I would recommend it.

Best Vocab App
I recently found this app after trying almost every single other vocab app in the app store. This app starts you off immediately with new, difficult, challenging words while also giving you the ability to review and understand them before continuing. Most other apps start you off with basic english and there isn't really a way to 'test out' of that and skip to a higher language level. This is without a doubt the best vocab app you can get, and its teaching methodology is pretty good, it does make it easy to learn the words.
Now, this app has 5 star potential, and the only reason i withheld a star is because I have a few suggestions and i want the developers to see my review hopefully and throw these things in because it would drastically improve the apps learning and memorization techniques.
1. Once you've gotten the definition and word association/closest–in–meaning questions right a few times the words move into the 'mastered' category and the interactive learning element gets taken away. Once they're mastered all you can do is go in and read the definition like a dictionary. I love that they compile the mastered words and make them readily available for review instead of getting rid of them or locking them away, but I would absolutely love to see them add the ability to go in the mastered category and be able to review quiz on the definitions of those words at any time, as often as you want, in order to solidify your understanding of the words because they certainly are not actually 'mastered' after a few right answers.
2. I would also love to see a question format where you are given a fill in the blank sentence and then 4 word choices and you have to choose the right word. This would exercise your word recall and require you to utilize your understanding of the definition of the words in order to properly use them which then helps with overall memory and understanding. You could even make this explicitly the review quizzes you do in the mastered category, or you could throw them into all the levels, either one would be great i think.
If these features are added i will add the fifth star, but id also like to reiterate that this is the best vocab app on the app store for established english speakers wanting to challenge and improve their vocabulary. Even without my requested features this app is well worth your time and effort!
