Umujyanama – Hekitari

Umujyanama, powered by Hekitari, is a free farm adviser for Rwanda that speaks Kinyarwanda. • Find your land by its UPI or draw it on the map, and say what you planted. • Satellite monitoring every night: see how your crop is doing against what it should be at this stage, with an estimate of the harvest. • Photograph a sick plant and learn what it is and what to do about it. • Ask the adviser anything by typing or speaking, and hear the answer read aloud. • Soil, weather and a 7-day forecast for each field. • Find out which crops suit a piece of land. • Keeps working without a connection once it has been opened with one. Free, with no advertising. Also in English.
