How did UN8D come about? Taxis used to have to be called or waved. In recent years, new companies have come up with apps taxi platforms. These taxi platforms are just an app between drivers and customers. This makes the ordering process easier, but has serious consequences. Drivers are very dependent on the app. These companies charge more and more commission every year. Now even 31%. The drivers have to incur costs such as maintenance, fuel and license plate. The company only makes an app that has little cost. The drivers themselves are hardly screened. This consists of an online background check. After which people are allowed to drive around in their own car. There is also no control while driving around. These 2 factors make for very bad service. Such as working hours of 10 hours a day 7 days a week. Which leads to fatal accidents every week. Drivers can be incapable. Usually cannot make ends meet by the committee. There have also been multiple strikes and millions in fines for violations of the law. And many other problems for which there is no solution in the near future after Corona.
