Hidden presets

Why canโ€™t I add presets from the Hidden tab anymore like I could before?

Decent Safari Plugin

Unfortunately doesnโ€™t work for many sites. It truly only allows you to change the User-Agent header for your web requests. Many sites nowadays also check User-Agent Client Hints, which this plugin does not alter, and still causes sites to present the mobile version.

FAQ

What does this app do?

This app allows you to change the user agent string your browser sends to websites. The user agent identifies your browser and its version, and by modifying it, you can see how websites behave differently across various browsers and their versions.

What are the key features?

Key features include choosing from a set of preset user agents, using presets as a global setting or pasting your own custom user agent, and setting specific user agents for individual websites. You can also add your own custom presets.

Is this app free to use?

Yes, this application is free to use. It does not have any in-app purchases or advertisements, and it does not collect any user data.

How can I use this app to test a website?

You can use this app by selecting a preset user agent that matches the browser you want to test with, or by creating and applying your own custom user agent. You can then navigate to the website you wish to test and observe how its content or functionality changes based on the altered user agent.

Can this app guarantee accurate website testing?

While this app effectively changes the user agent header, it's important to note that websites may still employ fingerprinting techniques to identify your browser. Therefore, the results should be used as a guide, and not as a definitive measure of browser compatibility.
