Fun game but…
I love the basketball game; however, the developers need to fix a few errors. Players from the 50’s/60’s/70’s don’t have any block or steal stats and therefore in the “Court IQ” they don’t contribute any positive score towards “defensive event share”. Even Bill Russell, considered one of the greatest defenders of all time, doesn’t contribute to any kind of defensive event share because he has no block or steal stats recorded lol. Dev’s need to find some way of averaging in some of those stats into the game.
Edit: THE DEVS ARE AWESOME! So refreshing to see a company/app who reads comments and attempts to help their players! The fix with publicly estimated stats is a fantastic workaround to the lack available data from the older eras. Makes the game even more enjoyable (and much better than the other 82-0 type games out there haha 😜).
Not sure it’s possible because of lack of data again from older era, but eventually adding in more stats, like some of the advanced metrics used in NBA today, would make the IQ mode even more strategic and fun!

Hey Dchnsyvodc, thank you for the thoughtful review. This is an issue we ran into during initial testing as well. Unfortunately, the league did not officially track steals or blocks until the 1973-74 season, so many older players had empty defensive stat fields. We’ve addressed this as best we can by updating major historical players, including Bill Russell, with the best publicly available defensive estimates. We also fixed a scoring logic issue where players could be punished for missing stat fields when those stats simply were not tracked at the time. This fix is live now, so older players should no longer be unfairly hurt in your results. Thank you for playing Undefeated!
