Welcome to underrated.com. Our site is a place where people can go to find value. The word "underrated" indicates just that...value. It is a place to find "the diamond in the rough," a "secret gem" that people think is so good they want to share it with other people. This is found in a variety of categories: For example, food and drink, including underrated restaurants, fancy places, diners, mom and pop establishments, and even chains. This also includes underrated foods, dishes, recipes, etc. Other categories include travel: Underrated places to go, hotels, tours, cities, small towns, resorts, beaches, airlines, etc. Then there's the shopping category: Small stores, large stores, specialty shopping, boutiques, online shopping sites, etc. Another category is outdoor activities, including hikes, exercising sites, healthy living, etc. There is a category for services, which includes everyday needs that encompass any type of service that one may need, such as health care, clinics, contractors, home care, etc. There is also a category for entertainment, including local events, artists, music, sporting events, concerts, etc. Six basic categories for people to find a positive, valuable experience.Some of these "finds" are known, some unknown. The site will be in a forum format so that users can positively interact with what they see, and then add "underrated finds" of their own. We want only positive feedback. Unlike Yelp, this is not a site to criticize or rate. We want underrated.com to be a positive site for people to get better truthful value in their life. Our administrative staff will accentuate the positive and minimize the negative. Our primary source of monetization will be advertising revenue, as we feel that merchants in all walks of life will want to be involved in such a positive forum. This site is geographically set up in different locations so that users can choose where they would like to find their underrated scenario. Currently, this is primarily in California, but our goal is to expand nationally and globally. We look forward to being on your platform.
