Unexpected Roads

Created between Guadalajara and Marseille to mark the Bicentennial of Franco-Mexican cultural relations (1826–2026), Unexpected Roads is an augmented reality application. It offers a journey into nine sequences. Dance and graphic design guide the navigation. Each stage can take place in a large indoor space or outdoors. Throughout the variations, Mexican signs appear in unexpected geographical settings.
