Disappointing
The app is a disappointment because the technology is great but the lack of investment in the app is bewildering as it is really letting the product down and under exploiting its potential. The app currently misses a number of the games available in the entertainment venues and it looks like unicorn are just focussed on the public entertainment space and leaving the domestic market to target. A big missed opportunity.

A lot better
Great app, hours of fun when you have a few mates over. Pretty good playing the Dart bots on your own too!
The board itself could be improved, far to many bounce outs as the wires are quite prominent.
Few more games would be nice, Practice mode would be great too.

Getting better!
EDIT: The recent update seems to have addressed most of the complaints I had, so thank you!
My only complaint now is that the UI still feels very outdated and is missing that modern feel. Also, could really do with more games, but I see one has been added, hopefully more on the way.

Bad: App is outdated, needs better UI design. Small issues like the app will rotate back to vertical when selecting a game. Also could do with adding a few more games. Also the X01 game is only 1 leg. You should have the ability to play longer sets.

Could be a lot better
The app is great fun, could easily be improved though.
The dart bots are one difficulty, useless no challenge at all.
You canât have best of 3,5 games etc only one game at a time. Why!??
Practice mode would be great too.

App need work
The app badly needs to by updated so that it doesnât rotate between vertical and horizontal when exiting games. If I have my tablet in vertical, the app should stay that way.

The board is a great purchase if youâre looking for a cheaper alternative to auto scoring and home games. It provides a great night of darts. However this will quickly soon be out performed by the rapidly growing auto scoring market. The board needs to change to a staple-less system and add much better modes. If this app does not improve soon I will consider moving to a more advanced system.

Mostly works fine but more games please
The app is generally fine and mostly it picks up darts hitting the board, although not if they miss (obviously). However 7 games is a little limiting and they are similar. Please release more games or at least make the, available to buy.

We need a wider variety of games now.
Convenient, But Needs Improvements
This could be a great app if somebody would provide some basic improvements. Settings arenât saved for the next time the app is used. Cricket isnât scored correctly. Stats arenât saved on players. I like how this interface works withe the board but take a little time to make sure the app and scoring functions correctly after selling an expensive board.

Great app
Could do with someone calling the scores when theyâre hit like the Russ bray app, a few more games. Would be nice on x01 to have an option like (speed play) when using the smart board not to push next player and it just skips once all 3 darts are hit.

Please update app so you can use it in landscape or portrait.
I wanted to mount a tablet pc to the wall but the app starts in portrait and when the game starts it changes to landscape.

Slowly getting there
So my son and myself have been really enjoying the smart board, our iPad is just below the dartboard and we have not had any connection issues, this is what i would like to see:
1) UI to work in landscape mode, only changes
when you start the game.
2) Difficulty levels for the Robots
3) More fun games, look at the Granboard App
4) Russ Bray app integration, would make it worth a DLC purchase just to here the score played back like the Russ Bray app does

Viel Luft nach Oben
Die alte App gefiel mir besser. War ĂŒbersichtlicher und machte weniger Probleme. Wenn ich wieder zurĂŒck könnte, wĂŒrde ich die Alte App weiter benutzen. Die Sounds der neuen App gefallen mir auch nicht. Es wĂ€re toll wenn die Sounds beim Triple, Double oder Bull anders wĂ€ren als wenn man ein normales Feld trifft. Bitte Ă€ndern.

Great fun, but needs instructions and a less glitchy app
This is actually such good fun. We use the app on an ipad and cast this to the tv for a better experience. Itâs terrible that there are no instructions as we had had to figure things out as we go, eg 1) press the button on the board when your go is done and if your dart didnât hit the actual dartboard 2) magnetise the darts by putting each one into the magnetiser on the board 3) the robots you can play against are actually different difficulty levels (1-9), etc. The app does glitch, but generally weâve had a lot of fun evenings on this!

Still Buggy
This app has great potential, spoiled by silly bugs⊠sometimes it will automatically go to next player, sometimes it wonât⊠very hit and missâŠ
The biggest issue is when you play with an iPad or phone in landscape, it goes back to portrait for the settings and set up of a new game, a simple fix which would make a big difference.
Come on, you may even sell more dart boards if you can get this app right đ đŻ

Getting betterâŠ
Please roll out fixes for silly errors before looking at new content. My board is pretty unusable in cricket mode. No response to emails either.
Please add option to re-enable the board button to force end of turn. It is so annoying having to press the tiny âMissâ button on you phone each time. Leave it off by default but have it as an option. Thanks The new app release is a welcome enhancement, especially the landscape mode. There are some fundamental floors still remaining though: - it appears the board button no longer has a function as the app detects you have thrown 3 darts and moves or (or you need to tap Miss in the app). A massive improvement would be to allow a player to hit the board button (instead of miss) each time to submit end of throw). - the interface for the killer game could be improved. It really isnât clear which numbers ALL the other people are unless you get up close and study the board. - an online interface would simply transform this game and I would quite happily pay ÂŁ5 a month. This would be next level!! - there doesnât appear to be the option of selecting all numbers for where the board button is.. appears a bit buggy
