Wonderful App with Amazing Customer Support
I love this app a lot and it really simplifies the entire process of syncing with your computer. With the server automatically opening when my pc turns on, I don’t have to think twice. There is no input delay either. ADDITIONALLY, I recently had a problem with one of the shortcuts through iOS not working, and I was not able to turn off my computer using Siri however, when I reached out to customer support, they asked for a couple of details and quickly resolved my issue within the next update. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING.

Cool remote
One of the best purchases I’ve made so far. It’s sooooooooo useful for almost everything you don’t have hands for. I use it all the time, definitely worth every penny ❤️
Recent UI update is terrible
I really don’t like the recent UI update. For some reason, the keyboard is now designed for Mac. No more ctrl, alt, or window. lol.

I have used unified remote for years and love it. This new redesign/remake update though is amazing. The update adds a beautiful polish and qol fixes to an already great app

Have been using this app for years with my favorite remote being remote screen viewing and being able to use touch screen mouse controls.
Latest update removed that functionality.
Yes I can still use the mouse from my phone but it no longer see what I am doing while using the mouse.

Recent updates broke functionality
Been using Unified Remote for years across all platforms, and after the most recent update it doesn’t function at all.
Also not stoked about having to buy it across all platforms to utilize the full function. Cross purchase seems applicable here.

Update- love the new update it’s really full featured and rewarding us for buying features in the past! Only issue is the mouse trackpad works really poorly now when it was perfect before (despite an update that says it was fixed)
The server sometimes has issues lately starting and connecting on its own but hopefully won’t be a major problem

Long-Press to Drag should not not disengage after letting go
UPDATE: The dev listens. So changed review from 3 stars to 4 stars. There is some hitching issues when moving the mouse horizontally. I move the mouse to the right and it hitches back to the left as I continue moving right. Maybe the unified server program on windows and Linux needs updating. I wish the server program was better at working on windows and Linux (Steam deck/machine) as soon as the computer is started and it on the Lock Screen where I put in the password. But I’m glad we’re getting updates after 5 years of nothing. Happy I paid for the app back then.
Prior to the new update, long-press to drag would allow you to continue dragging after lifting your finger. You would need to long-press again to disable the dragging. This was very useful when dragging windows from one side of the screen to the other while having your phone in portrait mode. Please reinstate this feature or at least allow us to have an option in settings for it. I used the hold to drag feature everyday but now it takes forever to drag a window since everything I lift my finger after moving it to the edge of my phone, and reposition my finger on the opposite edge of the phone to continue dragging, then the drag would disengage and I would have to long press again. The long press takes at least a second to activate, and the phone will vibrate, so having to constantly reengage the long press leads to a lot of time to do a simple thing like drag a window to the other side of the screen to snap it in place. Please reenable this feature.

Amazing app
I had been searching forever, when I found this app and it had everything I needed! That was years ago and its been working perfectly since! After seeing the new update it felt like I should say how much I love the app. I thought it was abandoned for a lil bit!

Wake-on-LAN still doesn't work..
UPDATE: After latest update patch to fix it, it still doesn't work.. Tried all the same troubleshooting steps including reinstalling both app and server client.. Never had an issue for years until these latest updates.. Added a star for dev response and the quick patch release, but it remains as of now, still broken

YOU RUINED IT
Basic input is now unusable. The tiny bar at the bottom for the leyboard/volume control is so small I just constantly tap the touchpad area and pause whatever I’m watching. It’s legitimately so unusable. I hate that I paid for this and used it for years, then overnight it’s a broken app I can’t use anymore. It’s how I control my entire tv system.

UPDATE: Sock is in mouth, they finally updated it! Changing to four stars from my initial one star review. With time and proving they are here to stay and keep improving, I’ll gladly give it five stars. I still think over four years to get this update is beyond insane when development for Android never stopped…

I did reach out to the devs several months back to see if they would confirm or deny if they abandoned iOS officially, but all I got back was a ChatGPT crafted response with the classic overly nice response that quotes your talking points back to you almost verbatim. For the record, the email response did state that iOS was still on their roadmap and I do think a human was involved in the response, but I just don’t know if that part was human or AI. I’ll gladly put a sock in my mouth if they’d ultimately prove me wrong with a new release.
This is one of the few apps I’d be willing to pay a subscription for if they’d just pay any attention to it at all… RIP to what could have been.

Newest update is a complete game changer
Every single small issue I’ve ever had with this app has been fixed with its latest iteration. The keyboard not going away, never knowing if I’m connected to the server, the scrolling being finicky, it’s amazing. I never bothered to reach out over these bugs because the last update was 5 YEARS AGO, but I’m glad the developers did it themselves. Amazing!!

New Overhaul Update
before the most recent update, i loved the app and it was very nice to use, but after the fact the app no longer suspends properly and if i tab out for even a second, the app will fully restart when i re-enter it with no permeability, leading me to have to re-find the remote i was using and to close the sidebar, which isnt a massive deal in of itself but gets annoying over time, and the interaction with the app itself has degraded with the new UI, keys are now smaller and harder to hit on the screen, the prompts to upgrade to the premium version are more intrusive and the app runs slightly slower, though thats much more the fault of my old ipad 7 so i cant blame the developer for that one, but overall this update renders a much worse user experience and i hope to see these issues resolved soon as the app is still tremendously useful
