Designed for intuitive use by commercial drivers, fleet managers, and independent operators alike. • Supports both 60-hour/7-day and 70-hour/8-day driving cycle limits • Enables weekly reset after 34 consecutive hours off-duty, incorporating the rule requiring two rest periods between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM • Allows up to 11 hours of drive time per day • Enforces a maximum of 14 on-duty hours within a 24-hour period • Includes sleeper berth configuration • Supports personal use driving (personal conveyance) • Enforces mandatory 30-minute rest after 8 hours of driving • Tracks vehicle location at engine power events and at 60-minute intervals while in motion • Restricts changes to duty status while the vehicle is moving • Provides driver alerts for system issues via visual and/or audible notifications • Automatically switches to “on-duty not driving” after 5 minutes of vehicle inactivity, requiring manual confirmation from the driver • Capable of running internal diagnostics and on-demand system checks when requested by authorized personnel • Equipped with data transfer capability for roadside inspections, allowing secure transmission to enforcement officers as per FMCSA regulations
