Quality and cost
With the latest release, not only were bugs introduced, but features that were previously free now require a subscription.
Look: I’m fine paying to get rid of ads. I’m even fine to get more features. What I’m NOT fine with are:
- having features I’ve been using for years suddenly put behind a paywall
- a subscription model
You want me to pay, fine; charge me a flat fee. But a subscription for an app I use maybe 2-3 times a month? To heck with that noise. I’ve had it with subscriptions.
Rethink your changes.

An Essential for Surviving with a Different Measurement System
After moving to Europe from the US, I struggled to make the transition to metric. This little converter has been a lifesaver. While I haven’t fully shifted to metric, having this app has allowed me to bounce back to the imperial system when I need it, while still learning to think in metric. I especially found the Area calculator helpful when I was looking at apartments. I’d say this converter is an essential for anyone who moves to a country that operates on a measurement system they are unaccustomed to.

They ruined it
I’ve been using this app for awhile to do cm to inches conversions. They have now made the app completely unusable without buying the paid version. I can no longer access the calculator to input numbers which renders the whole thing unusable.
Hero to Zero
This was one of the best conversion tools out there. Now there is an add over the number keys making it useless.

One of the most useful apps. on my iPhone & iPad
I’m 80 yrs old and only have an approximate grasp of the metric system so when wanting a more accurate number I use this app. I also use it for currency conversion to the USD $ when watching You Tube travel videos.

If I had written review list a week ago it old have been 5 star. Have used it for at least 5 years. Now there are still adds popping up but most feature features are premium. I am just going to use google Ai for my conversion going forward may delete the app

Super Duper Helpful Tool
I used the heck out of this thing for work and find it useful in so many other way. Watching NatGeo focused just converted kilometers to miles. Conversions for the jewelry I make. Cooking. Simple to use.

I love this app for all sorts of conversions. The most helpful is the Currency- I have used it all over the world and it has never let me down.
