WAS a good App. Not anymore 😵‍💫

This used to be a great app. Unfortunately, it has degenerated into SUBSCRIBE every mouse click/finger tap app. Sooooo annoying that Mila is going to the dump, dump, dump, right after this review.

Every type of unit convinces you will ever need!

I can safely say that I would be lost without Mila’s tools on my phone the reference tools are accurate and simple to understand!

This tool has been on the first page of my phone apps for many years. It's earned that precious spot because I use it all the time. With all the new conversations in V2, like fractions and angles, it's even better. Seriously useful.

Essential App

This is one of my most used apps. I’ve been using the PRO version for a couple of years now, and I would happily pay for it again.

Horrible upgrade.

I rarely use Mila’s tools, so I only need the basic free part of the app. I just installed the latest update for Miller’s tools and now I cannot use it at. It keeps trying to sell me anywhere from a monthly subscription to a yearly subscription. Every time I try to do a Conversion it flips me or to a page to join Miller’s tools pro. I cannot use my free version. This is a very deceptive sales trick. Now my free app is completely useless because every time I go to look something up it goes to the subscription screen. I am very disappointed in what they’ve done to this app. Used to be ab5 star app, not any more.

Thank you for your feedback, VBonanza. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Of the 29 categories in Mila's Tools, 23 are completely free and always will be — including Length, Weight, Volume, Temperature, Speed, Pressure, and many more. Six categories (Cooking, Data Transfer Speed, Frequency, Ring Size, Shoe Size, and Slope) require a PRO license and have since they were first introduced. That said, your feedback tells me the distinction between free and PRO categories wasn't clear enough. I'll be shipping an update that adds to the existing lock icon a visible "PRO" label to those categories and a clear notification when you open one, so there's no confusion about what's included for free. If you're having trouble with any of the 23 free categories, please reach out to me at scott@scottdesapio.com so I can help you directly. I read every email myself. I'd like to make sure the app is working well for you.

Mila’s Tools Unit Converter 2

Mila’s Tools Unit Converter 2 I feel is a step backwards.
It’s overly complicated to operate as in the past it was simple.
Next upgrade please make it easier for us people that need to look up things, that’s why we need Mila’s Tools Unit Converter.

Could you write me with specifics - which screens feel harder to use, what you're trying to look up most often, and what felt simpler before? I read every email personally: https://bit.ly/WriteScottDeSapio One quick thing in the meantime: in the upcoming version, 2.8.0, I added a "Home View" feature that lets you set any category (Length, Temperature, etc.) to open automatically when you launch the app, so you can skip the category list entirely. You can set it from Settings → Home View, or from the … menu inside any category ("Open on Startup"). It might help with exactly the kind of quick lookups you're describing. Either way, please write me. I'd rather fix what's wrong than leave you frustrated. - Scott

Scott replied! Never had an app developer/owner do that before and learned how to adjust the problem I had to show the units I needed to do conversions with Blood Sugar! Thanks!

One problem

Used to be able to convert blood glucose between U.S. units and Canadian but that feature is gone

Sorry for the frustration. The mg/dL ↔ mmol/L conversion is still fully supported and present in the app. To get it back right now... 1. Open the app's home view (the list of categories). 2. Tap the gear icon in the upper right. 3. Tap on "Visible Units." 4. Scroll down to the Blood Sugar units and turn on whichever you're missing. I'll be making releasing an update shortly in an attempt to avoid future confusion.
