Best App Ever
An excellent app for those studying for the priesthood, priests and any religious, as well as any Catholic looking to more fully live their faith. Also, the podcast is excellent and so are the books. I could not recommend this app more highly; the desktop version is excellent, too.

I was recommended this years ago by a Deacon. I’ve used it ever since as a Lector in my local Parish and have found it invaluable! Now, it’s even more invaluable as a prospective Permanent Deacon entering his propaedeutic year. Particularly for Lauds and Vesper prayers daily. This app is a huge help in making it easier to follow the readings in mass. It’s also wonderful to have information about the feasts of the days and a general discussion of the week.

One of the calls of the Second Vatican Council was to encourage more to pray the Liturgy Of The Hours. This app, and the people behind it, have done more to make this accessible to the laity and clergy than anyone else I know. A great blessing.

20 year love affair with this App.
The developer of Universalis is clearly a devoted Catholic. I have never met this developer but one can only conclude that the attention to detail exhibited, shows a passion for Christianity. Universalis is a liturgy of the hours app and is decidedly well designed. I have used it daily for 20 years and it is still my go to daily prayer source. I credit this app with deepening my faith, enhancing my spiritual life making friends around the world who also use Universalis.

Wonderful support to help me move forward in my prayer life. Navigating the breviary can be challenging. Note-I’m no longer in to yoga.
Excellent resource
For traveling, this app is terrific! It has all the text of the liturgy with the options available. I highly recommend it. I have used another app, but this one has proven to be much more user friendly.

One of the best things I’ve ever done
This app is functionally elite, and the creator has a wonderfully engaging, informative, and inspirational podcast. Praying this “Prayer of the Church” has brought me intimately closer with scripture and the Church.
Oh, the Psalms! The hymns, short one line prayers and antiphons. The selected Bible reading, and finally a selection from a Church Father or saint or sometimes Church document. I cannot recommend this app enough.
