How did this app not exist sooner?
Better than an algorithm.
Without this app, I never would have heard “How Do You Feel” by Sara Shansky and the Titanic Dance Band, an instant classic that will be in my library forever. You probably wont hear it. You’ll hear something else that you never would have heard otherwise, that I’ll never hear. Some band with no online presence that’s perfect for you.

Still Needs Work
The filters list in settings isn’t complete and doesn’t work or populate until you first listen to a song. However, filtering does seem to work when applied from the Now Playing menu.
When I whipped through several songs to continue to filter countries and genres I noticed A LOT of repeats.
Lastly, after I was mostly done filtering, I started receiving a “Failed to Find Songs” error.
This app has potential. But it needs more work to get there.

Hello! Thanks for reporting these issues. I’ve just released version 1.1.1, which tweaks how/when the failed to find songs error appears. I’d be grateful if you could send me a set of logs from the settings screen -> Email the Developer -> Report an Issue so I can look into the repeating songs issue. As for filtering, that is intended behavior that the filter screen populates with options as you discover songs.
My new favorite listening mode
This app is so much fun! It’s a great tour around all the different music being created in the world. It’s so much fun realizing how production values are so important, how very few people get the vocal mixes right, how boring and generic most music is. But when the good songs come – and they come! – it’s a revelation.

Além de excluir, eu queria poder procurar por apenas um gênero. E uma versão de CarPlay seria bem legal também.
Mas de qualquer jeito, eu diria pra testar porque mudou bastante minha forma de encontrar músicas novas. 👍

Always finding a new way for us to enjoy music!
And of course I’m gonna get the premium. Yo this is great! How about allowing us to select a genre, or a year or a country and Univershuffle it! I wanna hear that genre from all over the world or what have you? Either way, I’m having fun!

the music images dont show up on dynamic island anymore, it just blank. and the app is slow when skipping

Tuning things out & discovering
I use this app when I’m really unable to make decisions about music listening but just have music playing to tune out the world. Bonus is I’m now finding random artists and albums to explore. This app is really well integrated with Apple Music. AND the Mac can run it for battery free long plays.

Title says it all. Great app but please add support for YouTube Music if that is possible.

Thanks for checking out the app! Unfortunately there is not a developer API for YouTube Music so I can’t add support for it. I definitely will if that ever changes.
Deth to algorithms
This is a brilliant idea. Discover music without the help of big tech. They're hindering you more than helping, trust me. That said, there are some things this app could do to help you drill down a little little bit more into what you might be interested in at the time. I'm sending feedback to the dev.

Great App
It works like a charm. A great app to discover new songs, albums and artists. The option to exclude music genres is great. It would be better if we could also exclude AI-made songs 😆. Just two suggestions: CarPlay and Last.fm integration (as Album App).
Not just music discovery
I got this to discover new music, but I’m not using like that at all. I am just thoroughly enjoying different genres of music from all over the world that I have never listened to before.

found some random guys' grunge project with 40 monthly listeners
only problems: the status bar does not let me skip until the song has played for about 5 seconds (depending on the length of the song, up to 15 seconds) and the listening history does not work at all for me

Thanks for checking the app out and for leaving a review! The status bar issue will be fixed in the next update, coming out in the next couple of days. I’ll need a little more information to troubleshoot your listening history issue. Could you please hit the “Contact the Developer” from the app’s settings screen and send me the logs it generates?
