Recent Log In Glitch
Overall has been a good app, but for the past couple months it has incorrectly stated that I used the wrong password and login combo. Not every time, but intermittently.
The problem seems to arise particularly when I try to log in for the second time in a day. That is, the first log in goes fine, but subsequent ones get rejected.
I would try again and get the same message. The first few times it happened I just assumed it was right (though I was pretty confident I was entering it correctly). Today I took the time to explore this in depth and confirmed that it is rejecting a correct login combo.

If your military stay away
If your military and need a bank don’t use this one any other bank but this one I can’t even book my flight even though I’m on the account they say I’m not and some lady took my off the account if you don’t want your significant other to suffer using this bank don’t use it they have done nothing to help

I will stick w Regis back till end of time I have never had issues . The only downside is that there’s not many branches but thankfully I dont to step in frequently.

The category of this app is “business”, however, it should be listed as “finance” or “banking” so it’s in the right default app folder.
They hold your money for no reasons!
CAREFUL! They will add a negative pending charge on your account to hold your money. The term says it should be 7 biz days but actually it will be longer than 2 weeks
UCU new web site
When the new site was introduced to users around mid 2023, it failed to migrate all but two of my payees in the list and consequently I was subjected to various late payment fees by the time I realized it. Since then I have contacted UCU a few times and to this date, the associates have not been able to explain why an automatic payment system failed so drastically. I will be elevating my concern to the appropriate Federal agency shortly to have this issue looked at from the users point of view in addition to the fact that the portal/site is more difficult to get used to and lacks the necessary tools to add new payees, new values, etc.

It’s not the same how the University of credit Union behaved 25 years ago
I could walk in and ask for a loan, and walk out all happy. And I had that pride with the University credit union because the credit union knows where I work I for Ucla. I’ve been here for 26 years, I’ve always brags UCU… I tell people go to the credit union. Forget Wells Fargo, forget Bank of America. you will feel better, and UCU. GO TO THE CREDIT UNION THEY MAKE LIKE THE EASIER, BUT IT HASN’T BEEN LIKE THAT RECENTLY. I’M DISAPPOINTED. MY CREDIT UNION NEVER CARED ABOUT MY CREDIT SCORE BECAUSE THEY KNEW WHERE I WORK. THEY KNEW I HAD A JOB AND THEY WILL GET THEIR MONEY FIRST BEFORE ANYBODY ELSE. SO I’M JUST DISAPPOINTING. I’m having a little trouble right now with my phone, but UCU always pull me out I feel neglected. I feel like the red headed step child. I thought left alone.

There’s no way to register!
This app is terrible. The only way to register to use mobile banking is to know my account number but Help says to find out my account number, I should log into Mobile banking! How ridiculous. You know everything about me! Why can’t you let me register with my name, DOB & SSN?? Now I have to wait until my new account info comes in the US MAIL to find out my account number!! Is this 1989??! C’mon, UCU. Do better!

It was a little easier before
It was a little easier to do digital deposit before but I still manage. Also the app hides what Im looking at when I switch between apps which can make it hard to run numbers sometimes when I’m trying to balance my checkbook or see what I can afford. I suppose that’s to protect information somehow but it is a little annoying to be Frank. Still a good app.

New update super slow
The new update looks nice, but changing tabs and clicking the menu have significant delay (like 2-3 seconds). Also, you can no longer access this app while using a VPN, which is extremely frustrating as well.
They also changed the phrase you have to write on the back of a mobile deposited check and so when I deposited my check with the old phrase, it gave me a warning and said the check is pending review and thus I cannot access my money.
