I am floored by the ease and innovation of this app - it is clear that a lot of thought was put into the most natural ways learn new language! It’s wonderful to have options to apply learnings right away, and in useful/meaningful scenarios, rather than rote memorization of random words like “library” or “elephant”. Changing the game
I really like this app! I usually use lingodeer but this has interactive conversations so I feel like I’m not just learning vocabulary and phrases but I’m communicating as well. This is perfect for practicing the words we’ve learned on other apps. It gives you suggestions for responses if you’re lost and it also corrects bad grammar. I will definitely be using this app in conjunction with lingodeer. Please let me know when you all get Korean on the app! I’d really like to practice that as well.

Great addition to my language learning!
This app is the French speaking friend that I don’t currently have. I stopped paying for live tutorial classes due to finances to stick with my language learning app. The LL app is missing the ability to have conversations that aren’t highly prescriptive and scripted. On this app, I changed the subject and the AI was able to follow me just like a real person. Also, when I make mistakes I get instant feedback. The app also challenges me not to make too many mistakes, so I am focused. This is what language learners really need, real conversations.

Intentionally developed conversations!
This app has conversations intentionally designed to give you vocabulary and grammar for commonly used phrases in conversation for a given language - the responses from the AI bot thoughtfully use different verbs that have similar meanings to maximize your exposure to and practice of the language! It’s also really cool that it’s a live chat bot and will tailor its response based on what you said as if you were having a real conversation. I also love the feature to hear the chatbot’s response and speak my response directly into the text box to send so I get to practice the language aloud and do not have to be burdened by typing!
