About

Unli Rice Capture is the fastest way to get a thought out of your head and into your shared AI memory. Press the Action Button, or open the app, and just talk. On-device speech transcription turns it into text instantly — no typing, no cloud processing, no account. Every capture syncs straight into your Unli Rice memory vault, so Claude, ChatGPT, and any other connected AI tool can read it. Say something once. Every tool you use remembers it. WHAT IT DOES Talk or type a thought and it's captured immediately. Pause and resume recording mid-thought. Review, edit, or archive past captures right on your device. Everything syncs bidirectionally with your Mac — capture on the go, see it land at your desk. BUILT FOR IPAD AND IPHONE Full support for iPad multitasking and Split View, so capture works alongside whatever else you're doing. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Transcription happens on-device. Notes sync only to your own Unli Rice vault — no analytics, no third-party servers, no account required. Unli Rice Capture is free, open source, and MIT licensed.

What's New in Unli Rice Capture

1.1

September 3, 2026

New • Type a note. When it's too loud to talk, or you're somewhere you shouldn't, tap the keyboard icon instead of the mic — same permanent note, no voice required. • See your to-do list right on your phone or iPad, and record or type a note against any item. • Transcription now follows your keyboard's language instead of your region setting, and you can choose it directly in Settings. • Full iPad support, with a proper two-column workspace layout. • Rate Unli Rice Capture any time from Settings. Fixed • The type-a-note screen could occasionally become unreachable — now always opens. • A stray "Transcribing…" indicator could get stuck on screen after saving a typed note. • An unreadable notes folder no longer looks like "you're a new user".
