Clever
For measurements of things that are shorter than your phone this app is very accurate. But the clever thing about the app is that you can measure longer things by putting your finger on the screen and sliding the phone while not moving your finger. The accuracy of the result will depend on how steady you can keep your finger, so if you need absolute accuracy you’ll still need a tape measure, but this is a good way of getting an approximation.

The ticks for the inches are just scaled up from cm side so they’re in 1/10th increments. Reads nothing like a typical tape measure.

Instead of assume normal people know what the diagonal dimension is of their phone and ask them to enter it as the first thing they do, why don’t you detect the phone model and do it automatically?

Don’t waste your time on this app. Plenty of truly ad free apps out there that functions as rulers.
Ruler
Ruler is great but there are TO MANY POPUP ADS! It's too difficult to finish a project with so many pop ups. Very annoying.

Works well, does exactly what it says it will do. Yes, there is an ad occasionally, but it doesn't interfere with this app's simple function.
Works but portrait/landscape are reversed on iPad Pro
Lots of adds but still usable. Works pretty good for what I need it for. 1 star off for having to read it sideways and 1 star off for the adds. I don't mind the adds, I mean c'mon, it's free, but there is a LOT of ads. Maybe try having an ad on startup but not every 3 minutes when your using it.

Great app, but!
This is an excellent app. With the caveat that there should be an option for a "pro" version for a couple of bucks to ditch the pesky advertising. Love it otherwise.
Just What It Says
It's a ruler! If you need to measure a large area then wait til you can get your hands on a tape measure. Otherwise if you need to quickly check the size of something when you're out on the go it's a handy tool to have. I have an iPhone SE, iPhone 4 & an iPad & have used it on all of them & have had no problem with inaccuracies. Yes, there are ads but they have not interfered with my use of the app. Good app. Does what it says.
