About

Your trip is already in your inbox. UnPack turns it into an itinerary — without ever being given your inbox. WE NEVER GET ACCESS TO YOUR EMAIL Most travel apps ask you to connect your Gmail or Outlook account. That hands over a key to everything: your bank mail, your medical appointments, your private correspondence, forever, and you have to trust that nobody misuses it. UnPack cannot do that, because UnPack has no way in. When you sign in you get a private forwarding address of your own. You forward a confirmation to it. That message — and nothing else — is what we can see. There is no inbox connection to revoke, no OAuth permission to regret, and no scope of access that could quietly widen later. It is not a promise about what we will not look at. There is nothing to look at. HOW IT WORKS Forward any booking confirmation to your private address — a flight, a hotel, an Airbnb, a rental car, a restaurant — and the details are read for you: dates, times, destinations, confirmation numbers, and what you paid. One tap to approve, and it is on the right trip. If no trip fits, UnPack starts one. Nothing is ever added without your OK. You review every booking before it touches your itinerary, and you can correct anything the email did not make clear. YOUR TRIPS, IN ORDER • Every trip in one place, with a countdown to the next one • Each day's plans laid out — flights, check-ins, reservations, pick-ups • Change trip dates without losing the dates your bookings are actually for • Share a clean text itinerary, with confirmation numbers left out unless you choose to include them • Past trips keep themselves in an archive BUSINESS TRIPS PAY FOR THEMSELVES Mark a trip as a business trip and UnPack quietly becomes an expense report. These features are free while UnPack is in early release: • Every booking's cost is already a line item, in its original currency • Photograph paper receipts — the amount and vendor are read from the photo • Add mileage at your employer's rate, with the arithmetic shown • Export a PDF report with receipt images attached, or a CSV for a spreadsheet — totals per currency, never silently converted THE REST OF WHAT WE DON'T DO • Sign in with Apple only. No password to choose or reuse, no profile to build, and Hide My Email works completely — we never need your real address. • Receipt photos are read on your phone. Only when your phone cannot read one is it sent to our reader, and the app tells you when that happens. • No ads. No tracking. No analytics of any kind. Nothing sold to anyone. • Forwarded emails are kept 90 days so they can be read, then deleted automatically. • Delete your account from inside the app, and everything goes with it. Your forwarding address is yours alone, and you can replace it at any time — if it ever ends up somewhere you did not intend, one tap makes the old one stop working. UnPack works with confirmations from airlines, hotels, Airbnb, OpenTable, Resy, car rental companies, and most anything else that emails you a booking. When an email cannot be read completely, you will see exactly what was found and can fill in the rest. Questions? support@unpacktrips.com — a person reads it.
