I’m not sure if it’s just my iPhone since I updated to IOS 26 recently and I heard it messes up the phones, but I’ve been having bugs with this app for about 2 weeks now.
Every time I go to split a photo it just freezes to a blank black screen after I select the photo I want to split.
I’ve been using this app for years and never had a problem with it until now, I’ve had to resort to using other apps that are more time consuming because I have to watch adds every time and they lower the quality of the photos.
If this is an issue with the app I hope it can get fixed soon.

Questionable exports
The app has one single job, export in a perfect 1x1 ratio.
Often I find that it exports photos with a 1 or 2px difference between the width and height causing Instagram to add white lines inbetween my slides.

It’s a great app, but I don’t understand why there isn’t a 4:5 crop

terrible UX
horrible UX, no support, and doesn’t allow you to change the dimensions for your download. so you will just get squares, why call an app “unsquared” when it just creates squares?

Having said that if you don’t want additional feature and just want to split the photo for carousel then this is the right app, on the flip side it won’t even allow to reposition the image

Line between images
App worked great for years, but now it produces a line between each of the split images when posted on IG. Would love to know why this happening?
Never loads camera roll
I cannot use it to crop photos I’ve already taken because the photo album never loads even though the app has the right permissions
Can only split 5 ways?
So many other apps allow you to split way more than 5. I need to split my photo 7 ways so this app is just useless
