Great, but…
The developers of the this app have done all the hard work so you don’t have to. Simple quick and efficient. However, certain liberties are taken with this, such as, once an entry is created there is often restrictions on editing data assuming you (or their system) initially entered it correctly. Human error means this is not always the case and to undo what “untied” has *assumed* can create faff. The interface is great and stands up great against the competitive“big boys” commercial alternatives.

So easy to use
The most sensible mdt app I have seen. Written in plain language, helpful staff for advice. Can do manual or automatic entries. Perfect
Superb - best I’ve used
This is so intuitive, quick and easy. I’ve used other tax apps in the past but I’ve never had one that includes every single bank account debit card and credit card. I recommend this to everyone. It’ll save you so much time. Everything is in one place. You can easily add photographic evidence. You can add notes. You can set rules so that the app starts to understand income and expenses and tag them for your automatically. It is completely compatible with HMRC. This is brilliant.

Ugly App icon
This is a business app. It has very ugly app icon that looks like a kids game app. One could never guess that this is about tax return. Or, is this actually the point?
Makes it so simple!
I always heard people complaining about how stressful it is to do a self assessment tax return. However, doing it via untied was so simple - no stress whatsoever! And the customer service was exceptional. Thank you untied!

Easy and quick tax return
Submitted my tax return in no time at all. I like how I can just use my accounts to do it myself and it logs all my journeys. Had a question too and they answered it really quickly.

It is unacceptable thst I can not use in a normal site device, I can not see my details on untied website in my account at least

First time doing self assessment - using this app was a breeze. Found a bug, reported it and had a fix and a new app update in under 24 hours. Definitely recommend

These guys make submitting the HMRC returns *almost* fun. Easy interface and quick responses from the support team. Way better than slogging through the papers.

First time filing a self assessment and needed to do it online (paper form would have made me automatically late!). I’m a non resident so this world of HMRC returns and rules was very foreign but as a non resident HMRC staff advised I could not file directly with HMRC and had to file using a “commercial software supplier” - well I checked out every relevant one in the list and *untied* was by far the easiest user friendly one. Sign up was quick and I ran into some hiccups but Marcus emailed me back immediately (seriously!!! on the deadline date of Jan 31st!) and got me all sorted. Whew, no penalty fees and what’s great is they will also process amendments (not all of the suppliers did). Fast and easy with untied. Thank you! 🙏🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻
