This app, their website, videos and emails were so useful. I traveled with my cousin. We drove from Rome to Verona with stops along the way. Took the train to Venice for the day. Drove back down to Rome with different stops. With all the tips and tricks, it was easy!

Take me to Italy
Downloaded this app before our last trip to Italy and found it so useful. We like to go off the beaten path and away from the crowds and we found so many great suggestions. Loved the tiny towns in Piedmont and wineries. As regular travelers to Italy we can’t wait to use it again. Next trip Abruzzo
Helpful but glitchy
Information is helpful and enjoyable, but does not work smoothly while trying to save/bookmark podcasts. Had to do so one at a time bc back arrow seldom worked.

The Untold Italy app has been super helpful in planning my upcoming trip to Italy! Every time I have a question I can easily search for it in the app and find so many detailed answers and resources. So excited to go to Italy soon and with the help of this app I just know it’s going to be an amazing trip!!

So helpful for my trip planning!
This app, the podcasts and blogs have been incredibly helpful in planning our trip to Northern Italy. Everything from destination planning (Lake Como, The Dolomites, Milan), train travel, money matters I feel we are set. Thank you so much Katy and Team!
Disappointing for seasoned travelers
This is a great tool for those who are new to Italy, or those who aren’t adept in gathering info from the internet themselves. It harvests info from Untold Italy’s terrific website, and from booking dot com. But for those visiting 2nd or 3rd tier cities, or those with solid planning skills, this offers nothing new, and the Premium is a total waste of money. Hopefully premium level will offer more value in future.

Hopefully you've been enjoying our Abruzzo and Le Marche guides, we know of no guidebooks for both regions with all 20 Italian regions available soon. We're continually adding to our app and only add curated picks tested by our team based in Italy
Very good app but..
The app is very good, but I have some reservations. The premium version is almost $15. It is very good, but I am concerned by the following statement:
“We may add some additional services for a fee later but currently we're working to ensure the content is useful as is.”
When we pay $15 for the “premium version,” I would not expect to continue to pay for added content. I realize that their costs increase every time they add content, but if that content is valuable, more people will sign up for the app. Maybe if the price was lower, they could make it subscription based app instead. I just believe I was mislead by signing up for “premium” only to learn that as content increases, I may have to pay more for the added content. The app has just been released and they are already looking forward to charge for addition content. It kind of reminds me of a tariff.

The app is everything I need on my upcoming trip to Italy! Having traveled to this country a few times, I felt pretty confident - but having the app at the ready made things so much easier to navigate:) was able to quickly make decisions based off of their recommendations and handle planning logistics for my family without struggling for hours in online forums. An absolute must for everyone traveling in Italy - even the more seasoned travelers ☺️

App doesn’t launch
Tried to open but there is an error preventing it from getting past splash screen.
Premium account issues
I bought the premium issue on the first day. Could not access content. Waited a few days for them to fix their issues. Still cannot access content.

I love this app, it’s got so much info about Italy and some tips to plan your trip! I love how it’s got information about the food and wine, and over all it’s a heart felt about the wonders of Italy!
